Now is not the time to be hitting the GOP, we need to focus on the common enemy, the Democrats.
Beck's attacks only gave fuel to a 3rd Party movement, which would only help Obama.

I listen to Rush regularly. If he said anything about Beck at all, I missed it. Considering the source, and considering that the lib-O-gressives are terrified of Palin and Beck, they’re probably in their normal lying mode.

Rush never pummeled Beck. The writer of the article is trying to create a cat fight where none exists.
Levin went after Beck, big time. But Rush doesn't go after other radio talk show hosts.
The most I heard Rush say was something like this: saying that there's no difference between Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi, nor between Harry Reid and Jim DeMint is just plain silly.

I found Rush's bit today, periodically interrupting clips with the “there's no difference between Democrats & Republicans” quite clever. The person e-mailing him that his show was being hacked was truly funny.

Another MSM attempt at setting us up against one another! It's a concerted effort based on disinformation.
Just consider the source...unless you would like to form a circular firing squad.

Rush has tweaked him a bit but Rush has been hard on the pubbies too. Rightly so......look what they are doing to Palin, Rubio and the conservative base.
Then there are these little gems...McCain Huckster, Pawlenty, Newt, Barbour, Romney and on and on.

It's funny, Beck says that maybe the Republicans should work harder at not sucking and all of a sudden the other talkers take umbrage.

Rush did not say anything bad about Glenn Beck. They are both great men and I hate to see anyone lie about them.
To: writer33
Hey Rush, if you're reading this, the problem with your absurd unfunny display of absurdity regarding Republicans today was beyond annoying. The real problem was your absurdity was more right than wrong and of course that wasn't what you wanted.
You're stooping to never before seen lows and it's frankly pathetic to watch.
You can't pretend to be a conservative cheerleader and then knock only McCain...Which BTW by doing so for so many years, you might have played a roll in his defeat...Deep down inside you know that.

Glenn Beck is as much a political commentator as Jackie Mason.
They are both ENTERTAINERS! And that's all they are. Beck has the larger audience and is able to get viewers to focus on his agenda issues while more important issues are voted on in Congress while everyone's looking at Beck's show.
BECK IS MEDIA. Never forget that. At least Jackie Mason isn't media.

Glenn Beck is very carefully appealing to the independent middle. That is exactly whom we need to get in order to win elections. In order to get them, he has to call out the Republicans on the stuff they are doing wrong. He can’t appear to be one-sided. But, if you listen, he will always come down harder on the Democrats. And he has Republican politicians on as friendly guests all the time.
Glenn is also trying to pull the Republican party to the right.
He’s too smart to go third party.

Been a Rush, Levin AND Beck fan for a long time. Beck’s radio show is almost unlistenable, due to its frequent Morning Zoo nonsense. But his TV show is top-notch. I liked and dislike Beck’s speech. But I think Levin and Rush should have just let it be. I guess their hand was forced once The Gambler (Bennett) wrote his piece on NRO.
To: writer33
Difference between Beck’s position and Limbaugh (et all)’s position as I see it:
Limbaugh: We need to get the democrats out of power and then work to make the republicans act like conservatives. Removing the democrats is the number one priority.
Beck: When the republicans have been in power they haven’t acted like conservatives in 22 years. We need to elect conservatives and not just hold our noses and vote for the lesser of two evils. If we put the same people in power that were in power from 2001-2007 we are doomed.
