Host vs. Host: Limbaugh, Levin Pummel Beck
The Atlantic Wire ^ | 02/24/10 | Jake Simpson

Posted on 02/24/2010 12:59:45 PM PST by writer33

Virtually unknown a year ago, Glenn Beck has rapidly risen to the top of the right-wing punditocracy. Witness his keynote address at CPAC, where the Fox News titan assailed Republicans and Democrats alike and called for a return to bedrock conservative values. Though conservatives bloggers were nonplussed by Beck's attacks on the right, most praised at least some elements of his speech.

Did you actually say anything worth noting?

I have read that Goldwater wanted to make SOCIAL SECURITY an option for U.S. Citizens. You can have it if you want it, or you can get the additional 13% onto your paycheck and forget about Government Retirement.

I read that L. Johnson and the Democrats ran the typical scare the Seniors, to get the votes.

I am sure that the Republicans, ran for the hills, as soon as the “Scare the Seniors” Democratic rant came out, with the Lame Stream Media in agreement.

Beck says a lot of good things, his spending info is very good. I'm not anti-Beck in particular. He just says a fair amount of dumb things as well and they should be noted.

"wouldn't know the constitution"

That's a ridiculous response. You know very well that both describe themselves as conservatives first and Republicans second. Limbaugh has been attacking RINO's for as long as I've been listening to him. Hannity has been about as critical as Rush. Who should they be supporting...Ron Paul? If you are a Paul supporter, then say so.

Last year Glenn Beck specifically by name criticized Sen. Lindsey Graham as a Socialist Progressive. Graham went on another network and called out Beck, as radical for the party.

Hannity would never call out Graham because he wants him to come onto his show.

Same thing with McCain, Beck has gone after McCain, by name, as a Socialist Progressive, and McCain has fired back at Beck, in public, as a radical.

Hannity would NEVER, criticize McCain by name, because he wants him to appear on his show. That is why Hannity is so chummy with McCain.

Beck does not care about being liked by RINO Politicians, or having them on his show, Hannity does.

Big Difference.

Hannity has told both Graham and McCain to their faces on his show that he strongly disagrees with some of their more leftist positions. Because you have a guest on your show whose views are different than yours does not make you the same as they are. Many conservative talk show hosts deliberately put on guests with opposing political views to debate them. Is that a crime?

Doesn’t Levin refer to Beck as a “backbencher”?

Yes he does.

To folks with more than two brain cells to rub together, yes. To you, probably not.

Whether or not I support Dr. Paul has nothing to do with Hannity and Lmbaugh carrying water for the Pubbie party, something they’ve both done for years. They have always been party firsters. I am constitution first. And always will be.

Ah, the illiterate one who doesn't even have one brain cell is trying to be clever.

Your post that I referred to stands as one of the dumbest I've ever seen on FR, and that's saying something.

Have a good evening.

You haven’t been listening to Sarah.

I hope you heard her speak with Sean Hannity tonight.

She left no doubt about her opinion regarding third parties and the Tea Party in particular with regard to the Republican party.

Well, coming from you, that would make my post lucidity defined. I thank you for playing, but we have no parting gifts for you. Johnny, see this person off the stage.

You are naive.

The humor of the whole bit sailed right over your head (you probably still don't get it) and yet I'm naive.

Coming from you, your own post would be lucid.

Unfortunately for you, most people call that kind of thinking delusional........
