Hesus friggin chris! Are they insane? Has Gates and the JCS (Mullen) lost their minds? What the hell? Have they not learned the lesson of female sailors getting pregnant (purposefully or not) and reducing the efficiency of ship's company? It was starting just as I was leaving the Navy in late 1986 and has gotten worse from what I read.

Geeze, as a lowly enlisted aviation sailor, even I know that would be a very bad mix in such a confined space.

Even if they put women on the big Boomers, there is still little room, but enough for a willing couple do their stuff. Then think about attack subs that have to hot bunk. How will that work?

And how will it work for a sub mission when they have to put into to port for a pregnant woman? What? Mission cancelled? Or the Corpsmen (oops, obambi corpsemen) will deliver the baby on board.? Or will the skipper have to get permission to go surface? The whole point of having a secret service/deterant will be for naught.

And what about their periods? Sorry ladies, but you all know that most women have mood swings during their cycles. I'm 60 years old have seen it for a lifetime, so please any woman reading this do not try to tell me your cycles don't affect your moods. If you give me that, I will give you there are the exceptions.

This is incredulous. Again, wtf, happened to my Navy? As the article stated, Congress will review the change, but to my thinking it will make our Navy less capable. I'm now sorry I asked you for a citation. I can deal with politicians, but when it comes to our military that defends my family, I have little tolerance for stupid policies.

Gonna suck when so many wives/mothers/sisters drown or blown up once the bad guys have enough weapons. And it IS going to happen...mark these words. Maybe then these pussies at the Pentagon and Patsy Schroeder will re-think their positions. I'm am just aghast (no pun intended).

On a similar topic: Gonna be fun to watch enlistment and re-enlistments drop once obambi and gates allows open homos to join or "come out" in the military. Got popcorn? Got odds how long that will last? Can you say draft?
