While maybe not the "original community organizer", at least one of the deadliest. Think to ancient civilization and how those "organizers" sold their populace on the benefits of expanding their empires.
That said, Hitler's contemporaries are Stalin, Mao, Kim jung idiot, Castro, Idi Amin, Mugabee, Chavez, and so many others in the African continent (Somalia, Congo, et al).
"Community organizer" simply means organizing the local population against the status quo, good or bad in the ideology/application. Most of our Founding Fathers were by definition, "community organizers" in their 13 sovereign colonies, although for ultimate good, not to mention being acutely aware of history.
Unfortunately, we now have a "community organizer" who has no experience other than that title and is hell bent on following the examples of the tyrants of above, and seems to be either indifferent to their history of totalitarianism or just missed those classes in Harvard.
To me, there is either good or bad leaders. There is no gray area. You are either a good "community organizer" for the rights of mankind, or you are a bad "community organizer" who dictates what the course of your community/nation takes.
