This is crazy! We currently own the night and now we are willingly handing this our enemies? Maybe not directly, but certainly it will come to pass, and US soldiers and innocent civilians will die as a result of this decision.

When Rusty Feingold disagrees with you, you know for certain it's the wrong decision. Who is getting the technology and how much did they contribute to Obama’s campaign?

Meanwhile, two key U.S. senators on Tuesday wrote to Gen. James L. Jones, the White House national security adviser, warning that the Obama administration's plan to loosen controls on exports of sensitive goods and technology could undermine national security. He's getting us from every angle.

State Department lifts ban on exports of night-vision goggles Hildabeast must be rounding up campaign contributions, a la klinton/gore in '96. I'm sure our troops will want to properly thank her for this decision.

This is written as though night vision equipment isn’t made in other countries. I guess this ban is o.k. if you don’t want America to manufacture things, but don’t think that by extending this ban that you would hinder folks who want such things. Russians make fine night vision equipmnent, and I’m sure they don’t care who they will sell it to.

Our night-vision technology is what gives us a decisive advantage on the battlefield. And these guys want to make it easier for our enemies to get it?

One of the advantages we have over the jihadis in Irag and Afghanistan is technology such as night vision goggles.
They can get inferior Russian made stuff but it is all expensive. Why would anyone want to put our boys at risk by permitting export of this technologic marvel.
