Good way to put it.
Just to add, reading the event organizer’s Examiner page, I am very impressed. She is big on promoting self reliance, entrepreneurship, positive values, and responsibility.
While I can’t gleam any specific political leanings from her articles, the values she seems to promote are Conservative ones.
No discrimination as it appears to be a purely private event.
But of course looking at it “through the looking glass” the answer would be “yes”.
bitter and murky?
At my company they are sponsoring a series of events to call attention to heart disease “the number one killer of women!”. They acknowledge that it is ALSO “the number one killer of men” but the focus of the educational program is women’s health.
I loathe political correctness. It kills.
Poster “conservativesister” doesn’t seem to understand how discriminatory (and NON-conservative) her offensive post is.
But she posted it on a VERY public conservative political web site. That seems to take the "private" out of the event!!
