Yes, pathetic hypocrites is right. Dangerous hypocrites may be more like it.

Speaking of hypocrisy, I don't know where you yourself stood on the issue years ago, but I do remember where I did.

I was against the "nuclear" option, as it was termed.

I took some heat for it too, right here at FR. So what I mean to say is, if these same folks are against it now, but were for it then...well, you do the math. The trouble is, I can't recall exactly who my protagonists were. The better news is that there were a few others here who dared to oppose the option openly on this forum. So not all here are hypocrites, but on this issue, we have more than a few who in the least, should be eating their words (of five yrs ago).

I remember this, and felt Bush was violating conservative principles of Government restraint.

The “nuke” option should never be used to bypass the Representative form of governing.
That is tyranny.
Interesting that the Dums hold majorities in Both branches of Government YET they find it necessary to FORCE their c/f/s agenda on the PEOPLE.
11-2010 can’t wait.
