WASHINGTON -- President Obama yesterday proposed slapping a tax on the tanning booth, looking to the cast of "Jersey Shore" and other bronzed Americans to help pay for the nearly $1 trillion health-care overhaul.
New York salon owners said Obama seems to have it in for them, as the president dropped plans for a "Botax" on cosmetic procedures in favor of putting the squeeze on tanning-bed clients.
"The Democrats are really after us," said James Oliver, 46, owner of Beach Bum Tanning and Airbrush, with six locations in Manhattan. "They go after one little industry to pay for the whole health-care plan. It's kind of silly."

Tanning is the excess and greed of the white man and woman.
Gotta pay a premium ‘not cool tax’ to Big Brother O in the ‘Changed New World’.

From what I read a few months ago... the “Botox” lobby successfully deflected a tax on their product/service and had it shifted to tanning (believe Dingy Harry Reid had a hand in this... probably got a big contribution to his campaign coffers no doubt).
Not to worry, you are just one of the first. Look at it this way, the FDA will close you down pretty soon anyhow.
