I'm disappointed politically in McCain, but I honor him for his service to our country.

Barney Frank is right, but I think there’s something even more telling about this in regards to human nature in general. Most people think moral courage is somehow “easier” than physical courage. McCain survived physical horrors most of us can’t begin to imagine, yet couldn’t summon the moral courage to be honest about the motivation for his voting record.
