In his health care push, President Obama stressed the need for cutting out unnecessary treatments. That didnt go over well with the public. It may also unnerve vulnerable incumbents. After all, if Obama was willing to deny a new hip for his ailing grandmother, how hard will he and the Democratic party fight to save a moderate Missouri congressman whos down 10 points in the polls?
Veteran election analyst Charlie Cook is betting theyll remove the feeding tubes:

So instead of my getting tested twice a year on the name brand, I'd have to be tested 4 times a year if I were stupid enough to take the generic form, which causes ulcers in your mouth and your hair to fall out. So I pay for my name brand, they can keep their generic crap.

I know Obama is not very intelligent, but even Forest Gump would have noticed by now that the Great Recession has entered the Great Depression Country because of his actions.
Therefore, I can only conclude that Obama has wrecked the economy by DESIGN.
Wasn’t Christie a pretty good candidate in Jersey? He seems to be talking pretty tough about cutting gubmint up there.
I like your optimism, but doesn’t Nilbama still have the media? I want him and the leftofascists to get hammered mightily in November, but I worry that the Pubs will somehow put the ball in their own net.
Forgive my warped perspective, I live in Malibu, where the kool-aid continues to flow...
I think Cook being is being prosaic. Ike Skelton isn't really down 10 points is he?
If he is, that’s news to me.
Haven’t seen any public polls in that district, but it’s SOLIDLY Republican. McCain cleaned up huge there. It’s one of the most Republican districts in Missouri, largely rural, in between Springfield and Kansas City. The only reason Skelton has survived is because he has been there for 30 years and he has a ‘good ole boy’ reputation.
Obama still has a half trillion pork dollars in his back pocket, ready to spend just in time to generate a little bubble right before the elections. After that he won't care what happens, and it will be too late for the idiots who get suckered in to take their votes back.
I am not serene about this Fall, by any means.
Melt the lines bump.
IF you can’t get through on the DC line, melt the local ones.
What we need is the government to mandate lawyer insurance for everyone....
He had the Media in Mass, NJ and DC, he has the media now and he’s netting -19. The spit is off the turd, all the spin in the world won’t change it.
The thing to remember about the media is, once the blood is in the water, they turn on their golden children in a heartbeat. Right now its still just a few little drops here and there, but they created this empty suit and they’ll tear him down just as quickly. He has nothing internally he is just a stuffed suit, when they turn on him, and don’t doubt for a minute they will, it will be ugly.
The left is by and large full of very very ugly petty people, they will tear this schmuck down, not the right, when they turn on him. The signs of them turning on him are already on the wall, by November he’s toast.
He’s a man without a country, he’s lost the center left, never had the center right or right, and even the hard left is begining to bail on him. Not for the same reasons as everyone else, but they are bailing on him just the same, and they are going to be absolutely ruthless to him once they give up on him, and he doesn’t have the content of character to survive it.
What you say seems to make sense... which makes me suspicious! ;-)
