Were I him, I’d ask for a jury trial, put the pictures from a previous post in evidence...and be found NOT GUILTY!
I'm not sure why they would need to do that. If he's a first time offender, generally there is some kind of diversion program offered that allows the case to be dismissed eventually. I don't know the laws in California, but I suspect if he doesn't have a good defense he will be able to overcome this without jail time and a record. There are a lot of people arrested for DUI every month in all 50 states(57 if you are Obama).
Helen Thomas looks almost kindly in comparison.
