Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth is putting to rest any notion that he is a "birther," a believer in the unsubstantiated theory that President Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen and, therefore, not eligible to be president of the United States.

"I believe that Barack Obama is an American citizen," Hayworth said.
After several questions Hayworth added, "Barack Obama is the president of the United States."
CNN's title is misleading (as usual). Hayworth doesn't say a thing about natural born citizenship, nor about the "birther" issue. In fact, his reply seems to be an effort to avoid a direct answer.

Looks like Sarah is vindicated! HOw's that, Mc Pain say the same thing.
It even stated he was eligible, stipulating two parent citizenry.
Obama can't do that, his daddy was a British subject.

Obama is a US citizen though, isn’t he? Based on the birthplace of his mom? The question is whether or not he is a natural-born citizen, isn’t it?

It even stated he was eligible, stipulating two parent citizenery.
Obama can't do that, his daddy was a British subject.

“He just threw any chance he had ofr a clear cut advantage among conservatives.”
We’ll see. For me, right now, I’d like him to stay on the main issues of the day (like being against Amnesty)...and Obama’s real birthplace is not one of them.

Do you think McCain is going to come out and say Obama is not a citizen?
"Friends of McCain" are beating J.D. to death EVERYDAY, EVERY 10 MINUTES on the radio here. They didn't need anymore ammo.

Obama is not a US citizen; his mother was too young to help, and his Kenyan birth plus his British citizenship from his father snuffs his chance.

Actually, no. Not if he wasn't born on US soil. In accordance with citizenship laws at the time, his mom was too young to confer citizenship to him automatically if he was born overseas. However, if he was born in the US, then the natural born citizen question is still valid.

You have to be kidding!
Admitting that O isn’t a citizen is a huge winner, and he just gave up his best shot.

If anything I'd like to see Mc Cain lose just so I don't ever have to see his ugly RINO face again.
OTOH, JD's not much better, damn, no one to vote for again, ya have to vote against the other guy yet again.

Guess he just doesn’t want to be racked up or considered to be a nut case like the “Truthers”
Right or Wrong “Birthers” are perceived no differently by the General Voting Population and that is the only audience that he listens to or needs to listen to. I Hope he Wins.

Savage is great on some things but miss some things by a long shot, Savage never gave Sarah a chance from that Monday on when she was selected on Friday August 28....I was listening to his show regularly and I wanted to hear his opinion of the choice. He said that he wish MITT was the VP choice, He even supposedly visited Mitt for a private dinner late last year to hear him out.

Well... that’s a good point.
I was probably misguided in taking at face value the author’s contention that Hayworth is trying to put distance between himself and “birthers”.
