"Police said the victim lived in the area where the shooting occurred but they did not release his address."Well, considering that the shooting took place in home of the victim and the reporter did release his address I can only assume that the reporter considers the burglar to be the victim here.

That’s odd. I’d think that announcing that someone who lives at 811 Galena St. is willing to blow away someone caught in his house would be enough to guarantee his safety.
