Why are you focused on gays getting into the Church? That was never part of the original content of the discussion and you’ll forgive me if I don’t address every point when I’m doing other things at the same time as posting to you.
I’m not Catholic and that’s their problem. I’m not Anglican but I think it’s foolish for them to embrace practicing homosexuals and I despise leftist religion, which only disguises itself in religious faith but just acts as another arm of leftist ideology.
I didn’t know the various churches issues with homosexual ‘infiltration’ (though I think some fled there thinking it would help them manage their impulses) was something I should worry about. The problem is no different than describing Gramscian infiltration and corruption of any organization or institution. I oppose leftist and collectivist politics, therefore I’d oppose any aspect of such movement. But such tactics are not unique to leftist gays, so I don’t get why I’m supposed to address it.
If your church is having difficulty with it, I have no issue with you standing up against it. People should openly declare their intentions and not try to corrupt an institution in order to further their ends.
Same thing with the Liberation Theology mess. So—what is the point in talking about it, again?
Note also that the Church is not supposed to have any factions which celebrate and make a right out of sin: where are the church splinter groups who are fighting for tolerance of adultery, drunkenness, sloth, and gluttony (not to mention blasphemy)?
Whatever one wants to make of "libertarian" leanings, things which undermine societal morality end up causing a lot of problems. But (like externalities in economics, or the problems caused by offshoring in business) they don't end up in the scope of the variables typically considers, so they all to often end up being brushed aside or ignored out of existence.
