Wow. Just as soon as the "Hot Air" blog was purchased by the Christian conglomerate Salem Communications from conservative commentator Michelle Malkin, it has suddenly become an advocate for all things gay. What in the world is up with that?
For background, GOPROUD is an organization dedicated to advancing special rights for homosexual behavior, and advocates the overthrow of the Defense of Marriage Act and the overthrow of the law banning homosexual service in the military.
Not only was GOPROUD welcomed at CPAC, an event which is supposed to be the annual showcase for conservative values, the organization was allowed to sponsor the event, giving visibility and recognition to its effort to legitimize sexual deviancy.

• A psychologist in Georgia was fired after she declined for religious reasons to counsel a lesbian about her relationship. Even though she referred the client to a supportive psychologist.
• Christian fertility doctors in California who refused to artificially inseminate a lesbian patient were barred by the state Supreme Court from invoking their religious beliefs in refusing treatment.
• A Christian student group was not recognized at a University of California law school because it denies membership to anyone practicing sex outside of traditional marriage.
- We have homosexual sex promoted in our public schools starting in kindergarten.
- Wanda Sykes is regularly lecturing teenage boys on a tv PSA that it is not ok to use “gay” as a perjorative, and that they’d best shut up and submit to the current dogma.
- Big Brothers/Sisters now places at risk kids with same sex homosexual adults. Even though homosexuals molest at a far higher rate than heterosexuals. They will not of course place straight men with minor girls or straight women with minor boys.
- The Sea Scouts have lost their decades old slip for their ship in Berkeley because the Scouts don’t allow homosexual men to be troop leaders. Troop leaders take kids on overnight camps that last as long as two weeks.

Churches and Ministers in Canada are being brought up on hate crime charges for speaking out on the sin of homosexuality.
You are saying that society does not have the right to dictate what is “socially” moral and acceptable. Well if the government dictates what is “socially” acceptable - how much freedom is in that??? Everyone already has Rights, and unless those Rights have been Violated - The power to consider what is socially acceptable should be left up to SOCIETY - ( which does not favor “open homosexuality”. )
Which is more loving, to confront the people choosing to commit homosexual acts and let them know that they are on the road to hell (and show them how to get off that road), or to encourage them (enable them) to become more comfortable in that choice?
Seems to me that the true Christian love would be to show them the error of their ways and try to help them find their way out of hell.
Telling them (by any means) that it's "OK to be gay" is exactly the same as telling them "Go to Hell!". It's hatred of the vilest sort.
I have become aware that Salem Communictaions is not a biblical Christian organization. They maintain a forum (crosswalk.com) where the gay apologists and liberals are allowed to spew their poison but biblical conservatives are not.
In the spirit of honest disclosure I was recently banned from there as they didn't want to hear what the bible said about such things as abortion, homosexuality etc.
Their viewpoint tends to be "No one can decide what a Christian is and no one can say what the bible really means". In practice it means that the liberals can say that abortion is fine but the conservatives cannot say "Thou shalt not murder"

It's not a fixation. It is just that the practice of homosexual behavior is the ONLY thing that identifies a homosexual.
When someone claims to be "homosexual" they are stating to the world "I choose to put my privates in places where they don't belong". You can't separate the defining characteristic of the class from the class.
Years ago the big cry from those who choose to practice this perversion was "What we do in our bedroom is our own business". Now they want to do it in their bedrooms, on the streets, in the schools and they want us to approve and enable it.

Do you support having 5 and 6 year old children being taught in public schools that homosexual sex is normal?
Do you care if gay pride parades flaunt disgusting perversions on public streets in most major cities of the US?

It’s actually textbook cultural relativism. No, actually, you as SOCIETY don’t have that right. Because SOCIETY also approved of burning cats for enjoyment, killing people over petty crime, slavery, female circumcision, women being ‘owned’ by their families, anti-Semitic pogroms and murder and a boatload of other morally objectionable practices. Or ones like ecstatic rites in various wine-centered religions, self-castration (or forced) for various religious cults, holy prostitution, child marriage, child rape, right of rape in war, plunder and looting, etc.
One man consenting to have sex with another man seems fairly low on that list.
Now, if you say that gay MARRIAGE has a right to be opposed, I’d probably agree but “open homosexuality”? Well you can oppose what you want to, but I think leftists are far more destructive to liberty and ordered society but we don’t talk about banning them (usually.)
I comment a lot on HotAir. And yes, there seems to be a lot of pro gay threads. I comment there as JellyToast. I am not kissing off HotAir. I love the site. They aren’t banning anyone who is against homosexuality or anything. I have been over there defending the Bible and conservatism. And yes, I take some heat, but there are plenty of conservatives over there who are good people and are commenting the same as me. The site gets a lot of hits and I plan on staying until they ban me!
Who said I was an atheist? There are a number of possibilities apart from pure atheism.
But it’s funny that you would dismiss other stories of religious significance as untrue or ‘corrupted’ but accept fully one particular account, that itself is so similar to others that came before it.
Of course, you’d have to be interested in history, mythology, etc and be willing to confront your own beliefs and question whether its the ‘truth’ that motivates your faith or its utility. I actually have great respect for deeply honorable and moral people who are religious. But on an intellectual level, I don’t hold any of these stories to be revelatory and while there is often great wisdom, or at least insight into the human psyche, there is also much barbarity and primitive silliness.
I don’t care if you’re bored by it. And I note the slightly personal tone of your post, rather than actual address anything substantively. At least some of my other adversaries attempted to do this (though most can’t suppress their hostility for more than a few sentences.)
