I stumbled on this after just finishing Ender in Exile, Card’s long awaited immediate sequel to one of the greatest sci-fi books of all time — Enders Game. I was pleasantly surprised to read his views on the world, but probably shouldn’t have been given the characters in Enders Game. btw, I first stumbled onto Enders Game because it was on the Marine Corps reading list when I was looking for books as a young Army Officer. Fantastic book and insight into leadership and character.

You are right. 1877 was the year America started injecting itself with poison. Incredible we have lasted this long.

Oh, the reason for stupid kids is primarily the lack of disciple and order in the classroom. It has been that way for 40 years. Incredible anyone ever learns anything - liberal or conservative.

There cannot be such a thing as prevailing in any sort of a culture war while sending your children off to the enemy for indoctrination. Public schools need to go.
