World famous Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, known for her multi-genre influenced music and belly dancing, met with President Obama today, a White House official confirmed.

Shakira was at the White House today to meet with members of the National Security Council and the Domestic Policy Council to discuss U.S. policy toward children as well as early childhood development.
