See there's the rub. Back in '83 we had the Reagan-Thatcher Entente. Her Majesty's Navy was able to resupply at our Base in Ascencion Island. With the Maharishi Mahesh Obama at the helm I have to wonder if this bridge is any longer available.

More likely they will hit the British interests in the Caribbean at the same time. In addition the Venezuelan Navy can put ten frigates and a couple of decent subs to sea. Added to the Argentine forces that gives the Op For a decent fleet. And with the decrepit state of the Royal Navy they would have little choice but to surrender the islands.

In addition you couldn't go after Venezuela proper because of Russian Naval and Air forces that have been operating out of there. There can be no shooting if the Russians are around since the Brits can't risk hitting them.
