Beware wolves in sheeps’ clothing!

ACORN and friends want to manipulate the Tea Party movement to split the conservative vote.

The time is ripe for conservatives, constitutionalists and conservative libertarians to co-opt the Republican Party, and push back against the progressives. It would be a shame to see this opportunity devolve into another third party spoiler that will entrench the leftists.

Maybe the Republican Party of Illinois has caught on that the Tea Party is a libertarian/Ron Paul movement. Witness Ron Paul winning the CPAC presidential straw poll. The libertarians know what they are doing via founding and infilitrating the movement, duping true patriots.

However, it is clear in my mind that the following are NOT patriots: democrats, libertarians, Ron Paul followers and Ron Paul embracers.

Patriots believe in abiding by the U.S. Constitution and that means all of the Constitution, including the funding of a strong defense in both wartime and in peace. Ron Paul and his followers have been vocally opposed to this and, on top of it, Paul is a “truther.”

For patriotic Tea Partiers to say, as they have to me, that — even though they do not agree with his opposition to WOT — at least Paul advocates cutting spending, I say so do we all. However, what has Paul done as congressman to achieve cuts in spending? *Crickets*

Compromising with and embracing this libertarian movement that masquerades as Republican is the wrong path. Paul and the Tea Party will never be other than 3rd party, meaning an aid to getting democrats elected.

PATRIOTS need to re-think where they put their allegiance. CONSERVATIVES need to realize there is no such thing as “conservative libertarian.” Bottom line, we cannot call this a conservative movement without full support of our military and a strong defense.

How can you vote for a precinct if you don’t live in that precinct? That’s the essence of the existence of a county central committee. The chairman’s powers are then derived from that, they can’t possibly control a vote from a unoccupied precinct.

Care to comment on this story, considering your prior assertion that the GOP primaries would be run fair and square?

Illinois republicans have been corrupt for many years. They suck just a little less than the Illinois democrats. The average Illinois voters and people have given up on changing politics. It may take them longer to change things as any opposition will meet thuggery. My guess, they will need some reinforcement and help from other tea party people.

State GOP Central Committeeman Ruperto “Bob” Alejandro (District 4)
Posted: March 21, 2009

Alejandro was selected as a member of the State Central Committee in 2006.

Alejandro formerly worked for the town of Cicero under former President Betty-Loren Maltese as a community project director. Maltese was sentenced to eight years in federal prison on corruption charges in connection with a scheme to steal several million dollars from the town’s self-insured health plan.

In 2003, Alejandro ran unsuccessfully for Cicero Town President. Earlier this year, Alejandro made a second unsuccessful attempt at public office when he ran for Cicero Township Supervisor and lost. His slate of candidates was endorsed by the ultra-leftwing Daily Kos’ contributing writer Randall Sherman.

According to the Illinois Board of Elections, Alejandro has made $8,205 in political contributions over the years. All of his contributions were to candidates or organizations associated with the Town of Cicero, namely Betty-Loren Maltese, Cicero Town President Larry Dominick, or the Cicero Political Action Committee.

If you would like to urge Bob Alejandro to do the right thing and resign, here is the email address: ale05@sbcglobal.net.
