Why an I not surprised!
Not meant to be a racist remark!
There's much less China, and china, in the White House since Clinton left.
they took silverware too ; )
LOL!
I wonder when she will give Sasha her sweater back?
I think they DO have tablecloths — they look like some kind of PRINT like you might throw on your breakfast table in a country kitchen.
Jackie Kennedy was the hostess who popularized the small round tables for formal dinners. I think that they mostly used a standard head table and long formal tables before she was first lady.
The print looks terrible with the china and the flowers!
For some reason, I cannot post a picture of this pattern.
If anyone cares about my opinion, I don't think this pattern is very distinctive. Gorham makes much prettier sets.
Michelle Obama "practicing" with children who will perform at the Governors' Ball. Is that the "Black Power" salute?
no tablecloths?? That is pretty tacky.
that’s not a particularly expensive menu. In fact there’s nothing fancy about it. I do think that french onion soup is a little heavy to be followed by ribeye and potatoes.
KING CHARLES SILVER TELEPROMPTER, made by Gorham, Providence, Rhode Island, 1974; supplemented in 2006 by Lenox Inc., owner of the Gorham molds.
The King Charles flatware pattern is very ornate. I prefer a much simpler pattern. Tiffany has some nice ones. Clinton is my favorite. BTW it was named after DeWitt Clinton, NOT after William Clinton.
I thought the tabletops were some sort of granite, but turns out they’re covered with hideous tablecloth?
