ive soldiers at Fort Jackson, S.C., have been investigated on suspicion of making threats against fellow servicemembers, but officials have found no substantive evidence of misconduct, U.S. military spokesmen said early Friday.
The Christian Broadcasting Network, founded by evangelist Pat Robertson, has reported that soldiers were suspected of plotting to poison the food supply at the Army base. The report said the soldiers were part of an Army translation program that includes Arabic speakers.
Army investigators have been conducting a probe since December, but "we have not found any credible information to substantiate the allegations," said Christopher Grey, a spokesman for the Army Criminal Investigation Command.
It is unusual for the agency to comment on the preliminary findings of an ongoing investigation.
A statement released by authorities at Fort Jackson also said no credible evidence has been found to support the allegations.
"At no time was there any danger to the Fort Jackson community," the statement said.
Are we sure these are not the same 5 people who recently left America and got arrested in Pakistan?
I see several stories state that they may have had a connection to these guys.

Co-exist? Sure, for awhile until your roots get choked off and you are starved.
I think its time again to remind people what Islam wants, its global goals and whether we will be the weeds or the rest of the garden.
After 9-11, Jewish Arabic speakers offered to help but were turned down in favor of Muslim ones.
The rot runs deep.

Are we sure these are not just five innocent American soldiers who were gossiped about because they were Muslim.
CBN should have checked its facts rather then racing to issue an EXCLUSIVE scoop.
And the people accusing the Army of a cover-up are coming across as truthers, determined there is a conspiracy by the absence of evidence of a conspiracy.
If there was real evidence of treason, fine, take them to trial and if convicted stand them up against the wall and shoot them. But we don’t need lynch mobs and religious pogroms.
Yeah, I am pretty certain thats not the case of being accused just because they are Muslim...
