WASHINGTON (AP) - Democratic governors said Sunday they worry about President Barack Obama's track record on fighting Republican political attacks and urged him to better connect with anxious voters.
Some allies pleaded for a new election-year strategy focused on the economy.
"It's got to be better thought out," Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell said. "It's got to be more proactive." And, he said, Democrats must hit back just as hard as they are hit by Republicans.

The dems have the White House and majority in the House and Senate, and they STILL can’t get their act together, so they resort to blame shifting.
Yeah, Obama needs to be more “proactive”!? He thinks he’s a dictator now! The only people unable to absorb a message are located in the White House and Congress. Arrogance like We the People have never seen in our history. I have just written my congressman and Senators again urging them to fight the Reconciliation move for Obamacare. I never thought we would have to wake up every morning of our lives and worry about what our elected reprsentatives were about to do to destroy our country and the futures of our children. I now know what Kruschev meant when he said we would be destroyed from within.
