Many people would have us believe that it would not actually be possible to round up and deport all illegal aliens in the U.S. This is most definitely not the case. It is merely a lack of resolve to do so. How can I say this? Easy. Its been done successfully multiple times in the past. In fact, three of our most well-known presidents initiated successful illegal alien deportation programs.
First, President Herbert Hoover, during the great depression, ordered the deportation of all illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work. My question is, why would you have to make an exception to business as usual to enforce the law?
Next, the greatly respected President Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after World War II to create jobs for returning veterans. Were they allowed in because of a workforce shortage during WWII? I suppose that could be a reason they were here.
Finally and most recently, beginning in 1954, the very popular and practical President Dwight Eisenhower successfully deported millions of illegal alien Mexican nationals in a program called Operation Wetback, which lasted two years. Again, this was reportedly done to make more jobs available for World War II and Korean War veterans.
We now have a huge number of citizens out of work, including returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. It seems we ought to be able to do the same thing today. All that is required is that we actually enforce the law. There is nothing ambiguous or complicated about illegal immigration. Its illegal, the people doing it know it, and they are therefore criminals who should be arrested and deported. The people that deliberately hire illegals should be arrested and jailed or fined heavily.
We could put a stop to the current situation if politicians werent often criminal co-conspirators, and law enforcement agencies either disinterested, or told to look the other way. I was stunned to watch a video of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi telling a Hispanic group in San Francisco that she considered illegal aliens patriotic.
Where did she come up with that idiotic idea? I have long felt that the Democratic Party is not interested in deporting illegal aliens, because they are considered future democratic voters. The situation in PEisenhowers time sounds eerily like that today. In the 2006 publication of Christian Science Monitor, an article includes how Eisenhower dealt with border crossings.
In a letter to Sen. William Fulbright, Eisenhower quoted a report in The New York Times that said, The rise in illegal border-crossing by Mexican wetbacks (rooted from the watery route taken by the Mexican immigrants across the Rio Grande) to a current rate of more than 1,000,000 cases a year has been accompanied by a curious relaxation in ethical standards extending all the way from the farmer-exploiters of this contraband labor to the highest levels of the Federal Government.
So the U.S has repeatedly shown that, given the will to do so, rounding up and deporting illegal aliens is not only possible, but has been shown to not harm our economy or made it impossible to produce any particular goods or services. Lets just get on with it and get it done.
Set up internment camps to process the deportation papers, then start rounding them up and shipping them off.
If Eisenhower could do it in the 50s with Operation Wetback, then we can certainly do it now.
I propose Operation Wetback II.
Kenny is my Rep. He sees things pretty much the way I do.

“They had a great story about Cartels coming here to kidnapp/other assorted crimes on Americas Most Wanted last night.....”
That’s good to hear. At least they aren’t ignoring the situation.
Look to Milton
Open borders and the welfare state.
A decade ago, Nobel prize-winning economist Milton Friedman admonished the Wall Street Journal for its idée fixe on open-border immigration policy. Its just obvious you cant have free immigration and a welfare state, he warned. This remark adds insight to the current debate over immigration in the U.S. Senate.

Arizona taxpayers owed $1 billion from illegal immigration

The cost of illegal immigration has exhausted the Arizona State Treasury. In order to pay for the federal governments responsibility of securing our national borders and incarcerating individuals who enter the United States illegally and commit crimes, the state has incurred hundreds of millions of dollars of debt to pay these bills, said Treasurer Dean Martin.

What the heck does she mean by that? How do illegal Hispanics make this country any thing other than more Latin American. After hearing her say this, I left her a voice mail asking her what Hispanics signed the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. I'm still waiting for her answer.
We don't need to deport anyone. We just need to tell them to go home.
We are facing an invasion. The biggest threat to this country come from our open borders and the hordes of illegals. The planes on 9/11 did not take off from Iraq but from U.S. soil.
“Of course it is possible to deport illegal aliens and reduce their numbers to insignificant levels. There are numerous direct and indirect methods to accomplish this.”
Where’s Andrew Jackson when we need him?? It’s quite annoying when illegal alien border jumpers have more rights than were given to the native born of this nation.
