The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 22% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. That is the lowest level of strong approval yet recorded for this President.

Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19. The Approval Index has been lower only on one day during Barack Obama’s thirteen months in office (see trends). The previous low came on December 22 as the Senate was preparing to approve its version of the proposed health care legislation. The current lows come as the President is once again focusing attention on the health care legislation.

It's the result of statistical sampling errors. Rasmussen only polls 300 people nightly, I understand. If you watch the long-term trend, you will see him shrinking to a -15.

Also keep in mind variations due to day of week. It's better to go with 10 day moving average.

Do Obama and liberals have the guts to pull that trigger?

I believe they do. The reason is this change is so radical that they know America will be changed forever and even if they lose control of the House in Nov 2010, they will come back with a mandate after we all see how wonderful Government run health care is and how free it is. The elderly (like myself) know how horrible this will be, but we are not the majority of the population even today. It was the young and the black that put this menace into the WH, and gave the Congress to the RATS after the GOP lost their way. If RATS win Obamacare we are going to lose our country, at least the America that you and I grew up in. They must be stopped, whatever it takes within the law. Pray for America.

Blacks have a very high unemployment rate, perhaps this is wearing on the strongly approve.
