My suspicion earlier this week that White House attorney and Islam Envoy Rashad Hussain was involved in covering up controversial comments he made in 2004 turns out to have been well-founded. Josh Gerstein from Politico reports:
President Barack Obama’s new Islamic envoy, Rashad Hussain, changed course Friday – admitting he made sharply critical statements about a U.S. terror prosecution against a Muslim professor after initially saying he had no recollection of making such comments.
“I made statements on that panel that I now recognize were ill-conceived or not well-formulated,” Hussain said, referring to a 2004 conference where he discussed the case.
Hussain’s reversal came after POLITICO obtained a recording of his presentation to a Muslim students’ conference in Chicago, where he can be heard portraying the government’s cases towards professor Sami Al-Arian, as well as other Muslim terrorism suspects, as “politically motivated persecutions.” Al-Arian later pled guilty to aiding terrorists.
First of all, major kudos to Gerstein for following through on this story. I do not think there are very many people in the MSM who would have continued to pursue a story such as this that originated in “conservative” media (CNS and Fox). And while Gerstein goes to great lengths in his latest post to present a balanced perspective on Hussain’s views as expressed in 2004, it is his job to do so and he does it commendably as far as I am concerned. The one complaint I would make is that the timing of this release (Friday 10:00 pm EST) strikes me as a weekend news dump, but its quite possible that Gerstein had little if anything to do with this.

Gee, another Hussain shooting off his mouth before he has the facts. What else is new.
WE all knew Rashad was lying and we now know even more why he has no business representing the U.S.
Is he going to still be the U.S. envoy?

“...Not well formulated...” = “in-artful use of language” = Obamaspeak = conceal your intentions with innocuous sounding words.
No. But Americans already knew that. Americans knew what kind of a sob obama was and did not vote for him. Americans knew the type of individuals obama associated with , and therefore, what type he would pick to carry out his orders. Americans have not been surprisd at anything obama has done to destroy the institutions of the United States thus far.
The fools, idiots, and parasites that voted for obama may be surprisedbut that is as far as it goes.
Understatement of the year.
Besides all the lying from this administration, the radical agenda, the radical appointments and associations, the overspending, there is a real and growing national security problem.
Consider these facts. There have been at least four attempted or successful islamic attacks since Hussein took office.
1. The Arkansas recruiter killings.
2. Fort Hood massacre.
3. The Fort Jackson incident.
4. The Detroit underwear bomber.
After each incident (except Fort Jackson which just came to light), the administration and the MSM made the case that this was an "isolated incident". We know this is not the case.
So far, Hussein is running true to form. Minimize the incidents. However, recall his reaction to the Detroit incident. He didn't comment at all immediately. The reason he hesitated was that HE KNEW of the Fort Jackson conspiracy. They were working overtime to keep the lid on that story. Can you imagine the outrage if that story had been exposed when the Christmas bombing attempt was unfolding? Hussein must have been pooping himself.
You have to ask, is this just incompetence or is something else going on? Is treason afoot at the highest levels of the US government?

This video shows multiple violent interruptions (10+ in ten minutes) of a speech given on Feb. 8, 2010 at UC Irvine by U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Michael B. Oren. Those who violently and loudly interrupt Ambassador Oren are radical Muslim students from Pakistan who are in the audience. The Ambassador was an invited guest and what he said did not sit well with the foreign Palestinian students. These students made every attempt to quell the Ambassador’s right to “Free” speech.
This video is UNREAL. The feeling of impending violence is palpable. There are MANY boisterous outbursts and ELEVEN foreign Palestinian students are hauled off and arrested for their attempt to quell free speech. American students on the video appear fearful and in dismay.
A riot ALMOST ensued. At the end you are expecting the situation to devolve at any minute into a brawl or even a riot. It came very, very close.
