Hey, they've already proven that in Texas. We now have a tax on our private water wells in our county in Central Texas. Sure, it's a "tiny" FEE for now (just hang on, that'll change too) but already they are gearing up to put meters on our wells. Shore are partner, good ol' Texas, led by good ol' Socialists.

No different from taxes on private oil and gas wells. I don't agree with those taxes either.
Maybe they should pay for pulling that pump and replacing it every 10 yrs or so....if this fee was cleared by someone who has to pay for their own ‘services’ just to get to the water then that person needs to go. My guess is most were people who have never had anything but city services and figure that all they pay is that little water fee so why shouldn’t you? UGH. Hopefully they won’t come up with this idea around here, my water bill is already high enough.
