Watch, learn, remember, and pass it on!
Tomorrow, it will be morning in America!
I am going to have to watch this video many, many more times. He kept hitting points that made my mind go nuts thinking about it until I realize that I just missed the last few minutes of what he said.
He was spot on with me and my life. I know that I am not the only one that feels this way. As a poster above me said, he is the Sam Adams of the 2nd American Revolution.
This is the medicine needed that was delivered to the GOP. Conform or be cast out!
Then they mocked us.
Then they fought us.
Then we won, NJ,VA and MA
That was the best speech I’ve heard in 45 years. He has the key to what Republicans should be doing. Anyone who says different should go to the bathroom, look deeply into he mirror and decide whether they should stick their head in the toilet and flush until the end or stand up on their feet and fight for freedom.
BFL
You left out "sanctimonious and takes himself way too serious".
Is that repeat at 11:30 Eastern, Central or Pacific time? And on which channel? Thanks in advance. I Really want to get this recorded on DVR.
Just curious ... Given what you think about Beck, what do you think about Rush Limbaugh?
considering how liberal CPAC has gotten (booing off Ryan from YAF and the GOProud group) why was he even there? It doesn’t look good for him.
What amazes me is that we still have so many 100 per centers on here
We never seem to learn.
>> I hope to see him president some day <<
Surely thou jesteth. A Mormon alcoholic in the White House? Dream on.
More importantly, he told America how and why it became great and still CAN be in very simple terms. He talked about self-accountability, self-sufficiency, self-determination, while saying point blank that government is a roadblock to self fulfillment.
To paraphrase, "If you live on the teat and you know it won't go away, why bother to earn your own way?". Reminds me of the New Orleans populace who haven't bothered to re-build their city but do continue to party on a daily basis, not to mention other inner-city "gimmes".
I want stuff! I'm SO poor with my house, car, TV, fridge, stove, furniture, central heating, microwave, cellphone or land line (subsidized by your phone bill), welfare check from Obama's "stash" as one idiot said, et al! Those pathetic leeches have no idea what POOR is. Clue: See Africa, Asia, South America, or countless other places on the globe that don't even have potable water!
I have experienced poor as a child who left home at 16 and live in garages and actually experienced real hunger to the point of not getting out the car I was sleeping in. I also spent 11 years in the Navy and have seen poor in many countries we visited.
Hell, poor is right across the border of San Diego, CA. It goes from a highly successful upscale tourist destination to a slum within a few miles. Actually, if you leave the downtown area around the Gas Lamp District, there is a Mexican ghetto within blocks. I was just there on Feb. 14th at the Hard Rock Hotel to celebrate my 6th anniversary and Val Day. I could see it from the window of our room. Again, not all cultures are the same and all cultures do NOT contribute to the advancement of mankind.
Back on point: I despise American "gimmes". And while I'm at it, the so-called "homeless" which you don't here about anymore since the Dims are in power, are mostly what we use to call BUMS and HOBOS! Yes, there are a small few who have fallen on hard times, even more so now. But if you ever look closely during the Christmas season at the bleeding-heart MSM exposes', you will notice those in line are mostly able-bodied men. Most choose not to participate in our societal compact. They are also leeches.
Bottom line: Since we all die, I have no problem with the dregs of society dying before the producers do. Call me what you will, but after experiencing the World for 60 years, I know there are certain peoples/cultures who just don't want to do the hard lifting to improve their standard of living. Sue me.
Damn, that was the best speech I've seen since my idol, Ronald Reagan.
I watched it LIVE!
Thanks for sharing that. Best.
Second best speech I have ever heard. This was the best: www.americanrhetoric.com/ speeches/ convention2004/ zellmiller2004rnc.htm
Were you there?
Was there a dry eye in the HOUSE?
From monitors and T.V.’s all across America there were a whole LOTTA tears of gratitude!
Thank you so much....Remember Beck first interviewed Sarah with Liberty behind them both....Wonder how much of an inspiration that was for both of them....Am anxious to read Sarah’s comments on Beck’s speach!
Wow! A great speech from beginning to end!
