(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
Bingo.
You Rock Victoria. lmao.
“In 1988 Ron Paul was nominated by the Libertarian Party for president and ran against the Reagan agenda, at one point telling the Dallas Morning News, Reagan was a “dramatic failure” as President. Paul also said, “I want to totally disassociate myself from the Reagan Administration”, Reagan was “a failure, yes, in, in many ways”. Transcript of Paul’s remarks on Meet the Press. Also, see Youtube video of Paul on MTP.”
“There was a reason that she did not attend..but my mind has failed me again!”
Sarah had laundry and cooking to do. She’s been on the road for about 10 days.
I tried to find the cover online, but I could not. It is great. Newsweak must have put it down a memory hole. It had to be one of their worst nights, but they had not gone as far to the dogs then as they have now. it was a great shot of the Gipper.
Don’t know but maybe Sarah P. will not support McCain for a long time.
She could be forced, for strategic reasons, to support him as he choosed her for VP. I guess she doesn’t want to launch a straight open fight against the GOP apparatus.
In the recent election primaries she never supported the GOP candidates...
Wow, Ron is worse than I thought. I didn't know he said that.
He is a real kook!
Students of what? Insanity?? ;*)
Do the math.
What this means is that liberatarians have taken over the party. I do not find this odd really.
Look at the 2008 elections to make sense of this.
The issues at home have overtaken the issues abroad at this time.
Don’t flame me, I am basing my opinion on the outcome of CPAC. Does not mean I agree.
I’ve only gone back a few years, but in 07 more than 50% were students - in 08 40% - in 09 47%.
Thanks, STARWISE! Keene has sold out and CPAC is no longer for conservative Republicans.
“Reagan was a failure, yes, in, in many ways. Transcript of Pauls remarks on Meet the Press. Also, see Youtube video of Paul on MTP.
Yea, Ron. Destroying the Soviet Union without firing a shot and cutting the top marginal rate from 70 to 28 which has resulted in virtually uninterrupted prosperity for thirty years in spite of RINO and Dem administrations. If that is “failure” give me a double helping of it. On your way out the (back) door.
George Bush had a young firebrand for a national political director in his campaign. His name? David Keene. LOL.
“CPAC wants to make money. You buy a ticket and you can attend and vote. Its all about money.”
OK. But only 2400 of the 10,000 who did that voted...they should vote.
looks like GOProud has turned
CPAC
into FUDGEPAC
Oh, no flaming from me. CPAC has decidedly taken a Libertarian turn and that might be true in some quarters of the GOP.
The Ron Paul vote will be the big news. It exposes CPAC as both a RINO group and a fringe whacko group.

The nation’s largest gathering of conservatives has just voted for a looney nut job as the best candidate. The media will have a field day. We have just been discredited big time among people who only know “conservative” from the media coverage. I’m sure they will also mention the Birch Society being sponsors.
Sarah used good judgment standing clear from that mess. Next year I’m sure they will call it the Conservative Pride Conference.

+++++++++++++
Political reality seems divided into a few camps: practical success (pretty small camp), epic failures (like Carter and Obama), and spectacular blowhards. Other than getting elected to the HOR, methinks that Paul tends to the last camp...

At least for the 2400 people that bothered to vote. They surely need to get their act together.
