Romney was pro-gay, pro-abortion, pro-gov health care, and pro-fiscally balanced budgets (read: pro-tax when pushed).
McCain was pro-life and probably the same on those other subjects.
Not much difference, but Romney was a wasteland.
Which means that Coulter supports Wastelands.

Coulter, like Malkin was apparently intimidated into proclaiming Zero as a natural born citizen. I wonder exactly what it takes to get someone to proclaim a lie as the truth?

If she supported Romney, then I’ll agree with you.
The CPAC has become a Rino-fest.

There sure is a lot of difference. Have you not seen Cindy and daughter posing with their duct tape across the mouth? McCain dumped his sick wife for a mistress. Who would want Cindy in the White House? There has been no such scandal in Romney's marriage. McCain opposed the marriage amendment. Then there are the other scandals.
Nobody - not even Obama, although he comes close - has such a radical position on illegal aliens and amnesty as McCain. And this poses the greatest danger to this country. Besides, McCain exhibited numerous red flags that he is not quite normal.
Overall, McCain had no chance of winning. He ran to make sure Obama or Hillary won. GOP lost the election the moment McCain was nominated. Surely you did not believe McCain could win? The only reason he did as well as he did was because of Palin, and that was not enough.

In 2008, Romney would have by far been the best choice amongst the three ‘finalists (McCain, Romney, and Huck). He would have brought better campaign skills and some economic chops when we needed them. That said, I have zero interest in Romney in 2012. The environment has changed greatly and we need a common sense conservative in the mold of our new governors in NJ and VA. Strong confident fiscal conservative goals. Someone who unequivocally says that government is not the solution.
