Prayrers to his family. Not the greatest Secretary of State especially for President Reagan’s attempted assassenation and other times but hopefully he is in Heaven.

Did he EVER give an answer to G. Gordon Liddy’s famous question, of why DIDN’T we bomb the agricultural water dikes in North Vietnam, during that war?
To: MeekOneGOP
Thanks, Meek. It was nice to read an article about the general without the usual snide, derogatory remarks and insinuations so prevalent in most of the media.

That SOB helped waste some 58,000 American lives (not to mention the countless wounded)...Not to mention several million Vietnamese/Laotians/Cambodians.

“He’s been treated shamefully by some posters on FR, posters who ought to know better.
Rest in Peace General Haig. “
Worth repeating.
RIP old warrior!!

I blame the then god of media, Walter Cronkite, for that one. He incited the hippies to strangle our efforts against a righteous war against totalitarianism. That SOB helped waste some 58,000 American lives (not to mention the countless wounded) because of his bias. I will despise the man and his ignorant hippie/student followers until the day I die...maybe even beyond.
There will come a day when that miserable turd is recognized as being in the same league as Tokyo Rose and Lord Haw Haw, the only difference is that he was helping the enemy from OUR side. I don't miss the one world globalist bastard one bit.

A faithful & traditional warrior, and an American patriot... RIP Alexander Haig!

Um, no. It was a response to question, in a crisis moment.

Good God Daisy I felt and said the same thing about Ronnie. That is so funny. He was the first President I voted for. I voted for his second term I was about 20.
