The Texas congressman who rattled the GOP establishment with his libertarian-leaning outsider run for president has suddenly found himself the target of the anti-incumbent Tea Party movement some credit him with helping inspire.

These kooks are lost. Ron Paul is an Icon who leads in free thought and anti-government. This Tea Party thing is just about history.
“Fundraising reports showed he (Ron Paul) had $1.9 million on hand, compared with the $15,508 Graney had amassed. The two other candidates, Wall and John Gay, had less than that.”
Ron Paul isn’t going anywhere, except back to congress.
He has three Tea Party connected challengers for his seat in Texas Congressional District 14.

Hey guys! Looks like paulbot made it past the shield a few weeks ago —was it down for maintenance or something?
Someone want to escort him out while we track down his lobotomy doctor???
How exactly did “Mr. One Percent” rattle the GOP establishment?
Uh hmm, I’m not a “paulbot” per se but at least I’m not some RNC lackey.
When it comes to national security/defense/sovereignty, he's a bizarre lunatic.
How can anybody trust libertarians when their favorite
son loads up legislation that he knows will pass and
gives the pork while giggling I voted against it.?
Lord, I hope you are RIGHT. We need his voice now in Congress more than ever...& having his son in the Senate would be an incredible double-victory!
I just hope that the TPM isn't becoming as infested w/ neocons as the GOP has been as a party.

nOOb Paulbot invader. Let’s see if he is as revolting as the others.
They're not kooks, but Ron Paul is and you're wrong about the Tea Party movement.
The AMs better gird up — looks like we have another paulbot invasion coming.
LOL
Calls him an "Icon" and bashes the Tea Party. Who to believe -- you or my own lyin' eyes?

So far following the same obnoxious playbook as his predecessors.
As much as I can proscribe to Ron Paul’s fiscal and monetary policies, he’s off the reservation when it comes to our national security and sovereignty. Here’s a snippet from an interview wherein Paul says DEMOCRATS WOULD DO A BETTER JOB at investigatory oversight and lends further credence to the 9/11 truthers.
[From Michelle Malkin regarding Paul in which he stated Democrats would do a better job with investigatory oversight and further lending credence to the 9/11 truther movement and the America had it coming crowd:]
CALLER: I want a complete, impartial, and totally independent investigation of the events of September 11, 2001 . Im tired of this bogus garbage about terrorism. Ask Michael Meacher about how he feels about this bogus war on terrorism. Can you comment on that please?
HON. DR. RON PAUL: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we dont have that in place. It will be a little bit better now with the Democrats now in charge of oversight. But you know, for top level policy theres not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isnt going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on.
LOL. Heck if I know. Ron Paul is the true embodiment of a Republican In Name Only.
If he had any honor, he’d run as the Libertarian he is.
Ron Paul is OK as a congressman from Texas. He’s good on fiscal matters and the Federal Reserve. His kookie ideas on other matters aren’t that important while he is just one vote in congress.
The problem is that he has delusions of grandeur, and keeps running for President. This has produced a Ron Paulite movement all over the country with a constant tendency to siphon away 3 or 4% of the vote from Republicans and help elect Democrats.
If Ron Paul had just stuck to congress, he would be fine. He’s a voice that’s needed on fiscal matters. But on the national stage, he is a persistent nuisance and spoiler.
If real conservatives want to get rid of him, I presume that’s the reason.
It’s really turning into a frenzied free-for-all, isn’t it.
I wish they’d come here are take on my sometime RINO House candidate. He’s running unopposed by any other R’s so far.
