The speaker, Ryan Sorba, was introduced to talk about his experiences with the ACORN investigation. Before he could even say a word the boos started from the assorted gay activists in the crowd. (Sorba is a frequent critic of the homosexual lifestyle).
Note that only AFTER the boos began did Sorba change the subject to condemning CPAC for inviting GOProud to CPAC.
He became flustered as any young man in such a situation would be on national TV, at a supposedly "conservative" event, being booed by homosexual activists...but his response that "Lesbians at Smith college protest better than you do" was pretty funny.
People do not want to admit the dirty little secret. All of these idiot pundits and all others refuse to admit it too. The fact that the dems had a freaking supermajority plus the WH and they could not get things passed. Why? Because they pander and lie to so many groups to get votes that they cannot please them all when legislation is brought up. That is a fact.
The GOP has nothing to do with why they cannot get what they want. They need only to look at themselves as their own worst enemy.
Years ago we were all treated as Americans based on the Constitution. Not anymore, we are fragmented bunches of spoiled babies who only care about a specific issue.
I am sick of it.
Once conservatives and Republicans accept the false premise that sexual proclivities deserve civil rights protection status we lose a lot more than a party we lose all pretense for conservative ideas of individual sovereignty and the freedom of association which has already been abridged significantly. A conservative homosexual would not seek to be identified as such. He would not see his sexual proclivities as a civil right but merely a personal choice something to be kept private. We’ve seen the same thing with the Republican flirtation with CAP and Trade. Why they think there is any advantage to be had by blurring these lines it is beyond me. Their are not a lot of votes to be gained by courting homosexuals and environmental nuts but the so called Moderates continue to insist on it.
The CPUSA meets at least as much as they do, and one of their members is POTUS.
FLIP SLICK WILLARD RINO ROMNEY AND ANY OF HIS SUPPORTERS AND THAT INCLUDES HANNITY AND COULTER BEST BEWARE.
NO MORE RINOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even more glad Sarah skipped this RINO gay festival. Appears Keene’s gay-PAC has officially jumped the shark.
Ann Coulter was on Hannity & calling from CPAC. She stated the good money was on Romney and in essence he was next in line like Reagan in 80. Very disappointing...and not one word of RomneyCare or Sarah was mentioned. Clearly, Coulter has moved toward the Republican Party RINO elites.
THE ROMNEY CANIDACY IS DEAD, DEAD, DEAD,and MORE DEAD, RIGHT NOW RIGHT HERE.
DONE.
What boggles my mind is that a group like this ‘GOProud’ would form a membership based on some bizarre sexual fetish. What the hell does that have to do with being a Conservative? If they support Conservative values, then why in the world do they promote themselves as a sodomite group?
Exactly. They are the ones trying to silence any opposition and force their views on our children. I think most Americans are sick and tired of Homosexuals and their ego tripping. They demean the idea of civil rights to the level of copulation between two men or two women. It is a disgrace and not conservative at all.
BTTT
LEAVE MY KIDS ALONE AND I'LL LEAVE YOUR KIDS ALONE!!!
Exactly.
I do not understand where the sense is in shutting anyone out of conservatism. It’s about small government and liberty. Not burning gays at the stake.
We should invite gays into the movement. They are not stupid people, and many of them would likely be conservatives if there weren’t this assumption that we hate gays. (Which apparently, some on FR do.)
We should have a new message to gays: we oppose gay marriage on Constitutional grounds. We do not hate you, and you don’t need to hate us.
No one has to approve of what they do on their own time, but they’re still people, and we’re all equal in this country.
Romney = 2nd term for Obama. Think I’ll crank up the bumper stickers...
It’s not really about the gays, but the people who like to think of themselves as supporters of “gay rights.” If we project disdain for gays, we’re not just losing them, but their “supporters” as well.
We don’t have to change our position on gay marriage, but we need to consider their friends.

Straw man, uttered often by the left. "What people do in their bedrooms" is not the issue.
If you read this article, the guy who was speaking is not described as someone who opposes certain legislative issues, but rather as someone who is opposed to "the homosexual lifestyle". So apparently he is concerned about what people do in their bedroom, and therefore your statement is incorrect.
“We should invite gays into the movement”
I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t invite drug addicts or polygamists into the Republican Party any more than unrepentant sodomites. I want my kids to grow up with clear values and not think that its normal or healthy for a man to find erotic stimulation with the fecal waste organ of another man. To me it’s common sense.
It’s not a question of worrying about what people do in their bedrooms.
The homosexual agenda is all about taking away everyone elses’ freedom of religion, speech and assocation, and using Big Government to enforce homosexual agenda advancing laws.
It’s all about government enforcement. If you don’t see this, you should learn.
Although I can appreciate his thought process, after all, the sheeple gave that insane freak algore of all people the popular vote over Bush, elected the socialist crook Clinton twice and elected a Kenyan communist muzzie POTUS, all within the last 20 years , the hurdle this crummy lying bastard from an unpatriotic family will face is THAT HE SEEKS THE GOP NOMINATION, NOT THE SOCIALISTS PARTY'S
NO RINO ROMNEY , NO WAY, NO HOW!!!!!!!!
Yet, this article is about a guy who opposes "the homosxual lifestyle". I agree with you by and large about the specific issues at hand. The fact is, though, that the conservative movement is in fact full of people who hate homosexuals, and the homosexuals know it.
