Since 2008 there has been a long list of attacks:

Various series of jokes and side door coments written and on TV
The recent comment by Rahm, using the term F-ing Retard
To the recent Family Guy slam
(Not to mention the many gratuitous slams at Sarah’s daughters such as David Letterman saying Sarah’s 16 yr old dau was knocked up by a baseball player)
It is easy for some on FR to say let it go no big deal.
No other candidate has had their children attacked during 2008 and continuing.

No one is talking about making a law against freedom of speech.
There are still standards of decency. Just because a person can legally say something, doesn't mean that it is RIGHT.

In the old days when America was a just and righteous nation, people who spoke like that would be publicly shamed if not physically assaulted. No self respecting business owner would serve them or do business with them. Shame would rightly be brought upon anyone who associated with them including their relatives. Back then it was easier because men were men. They would not stand by and watch the weakest among us be mocked and made fun of. Back then they did not have pussies like you to defend people who would victimize the most innocent people on earth.
That’s offensive and filthy. Did this young woman really understand these words? Where were her parents? Good grief.
My point was not to support what they did, but rather defend their right to do it. I watched it when it was on, and I cringed. I usually have a pretty warped sense of humor, but this was not only insensitive, but it wasn’t even funny. We changed the channel.
I think that just as they have the right to put it on the air, I also exercised my right to change the channel. It was the only exercise I got that night.
