I am proud to add Dr. Jan Zeman’s authoritative addendum to substantiate the claims made in my Czechgate article. With Dr. Zeman’s permission I have edited and revised his paper slightly for publication.
THE KLEMENTINUM RECORD – UHI AND LOCAL WARMING by Jan Zeman
The “global warming agencies” literally raped the data from Prague Klementinum. On the graph we see the data from GISS although the NOAA and CRU versions are very similar. What has been stripped out from the record is the most valuable part going from the 1770’s to the latter half of the 19th century. Thereafter, it is cut again in 1939 so that the decade of the 1940’s is also left out. Then GISS cynically attached a wholly different record from another station at Prague Ruzyne airport. The “amputations” have then been renamed.
All this has been done despite the fact that the record of temperatures in Klementinum is still active and it is one of the oldest uninterrupted instrumental temperature records in the world. There is no scientific reason to have perpetrated such data rape as the original Klementinum was of exceptional value to science because it very much supported a skeptical scientific view contrary the prevailing orthodoxy in climatology.
Because John O’Sullivan’s original article was partially based on my research, I am taking this opportunity to offer a more detailed explanation of how I perceive Klementinum has been influenced by the urban heat island effect (UHI). I then conclude that there is a net warming figure of <0.25°C in Prague for the total of the last two centuries. This, in my opinion, casts a serious doubt over all the internationally promoted global warming scares...

Gore and his cohorts are global criminals who, up to now, were rewarded handsomely for their bogus atmospheric prediction even to the extent of receiving a Nobel prize. Will they be held responsible in a court of law for their trickery or will they get off scot-free?
If the latter is the case, we can expect more deceit from these snakeoil merchants.
GISS, NOAA, and CRU all edited temperatures downward in Czech areas. Apparently, there is massive collusion on editing all the global datasets that the UN ultimately used.

I don't think the author knows what the word literally means. I serious doubt that more than one global warming agency went to the Prague Klementinum and forced the data to have sex with them.
Well, an archaic definition of “rape” is “abduction” or “to abduct.” (The sexual definition I believe comes from the connotation of ‘stolen honor.’)
So if there are temperature records missing from the displayed data, you could say that the data set was, in part, raped.
Wikipedia has a fascinating story on the “Rape of the Sabine.”
I'm not sure it might account for some of their subsequent behaviour.

One-sided biased blog postings about corrections that have probably been explained in published literature and documentation do not impress me. If you actually want to impress me, find things that possess at least a veneer of legitimacy. You’ve been able to do that occasionally.

Do a search for Julius and Armand Hammer. Julius was sent to the US as the personal agent of Lenin in 1907 and formed the Communist Labor Party. It was soon renamed the Communist Party USA.
Julius was imprisoned for a botched abortion which lead to the death of the patient and his son Armand took over. Armand is best known for Occidental Petroleum which he owned for all practical purposes. All of this was financed by Russia and then the USSR.
Because of his wealth Hammer travelled in high circles and entertained lavishly. His first penetration of the political class was through Senator Albert Gore, Sr. who basically became a Communist agent in this country. Al, Jr. followed in his father's footsteps.
Another close associate of Armand Hammer was the Schulesberger who was the publisher of The New York Times. Pinch(?) or was Pinch the son?

I know that communism had an early foothold in the US. There was even a communist brigade named the Condor Brigade that volunteered to fight on the side of the communists in the Spanish Civil War.
It is truly disturbing that the likes of Al Gore Sr. and Jr. were never challenged by Congress as to what ideology they owed their allegiance. We now witness a similar problem with the way Islam is allowed to spread at home.
And the “good” folks in Congress remain mute in order to cover their backsides and keep their jobs.
