From what I have heard, this nutcase “accidentally” fired a pump action shotgun three times; once into the floor, once into the ceiling, and once into her brother. And they let her go?

And pointed it at two motorists.

Her mother had some connection to local law enforcement. She was on some kind of civilian board. I think the answer for her daughter getting off scott free lies there.

That’s exactly the way I’ve read it. Looks like her folks were well connected with someone and law enforcement let a psycho walk. It’s going to come back and bite one or more and one may be Delahunt.

Yep! Delahunt is hurrying back to the U.S. to get this straight....HA! I bet his phone line is burning with people back and forth trying to figure out a story line of why he didn’t prosecute.

Congressman William D. Delahunt was the Norfolk DA at the time. The current holder of the post, William R. Keating, is investigating the entire matter.

The Wikipedia entry is very short, but he is in the line of succession of Delahunt and, most recently, Martha Coakley:

===================

William R. "Bill" Keating (born September 6, 1952) is an American politician from the state of Massachusetts. As of 2010 he is the District Attorney of Norfolk County, Massachusetts, having filled that office since 1999.

Following Martha Coakley's victory in the Democratic primary for the 2010 special Senate election, Keating announced that, should she win in January, that he would run for the vacant seat of Attorney General.

================================

He is, of course, a member of the Democrat machine, presumably made in the mold of Martha Coakley et al.

Here's his earlier state representative web page:

What are the odds that this Democrat flunky will actually "investigate" this scandalous affair. I'd say just about zero. First, a lengthy investigation. Then a quiet announcement that nothing suspicious has been found. Especially nothing suspicious against Delahunt.

She was a personel committee for the town. This was an unpaid position that had 24 members. The mother has dirt or connections but that post can’t absolve murder.

This thing has gone national. They can’t broom it this time. The FBI has to be nosing around now.

You beat me to it. Keating has been around a long time. He's very much part of the Democrat machine and he will not be digging into this case seeking after Justice.

He may talk like he's doing just that, but he'll cover up anything he possibly can.

Thanks...I’d say that’s right about Keating probably coming up with nothing but his investigation may not end it, it’ll be interesting to see how this progresses.

This lady was a Harvardian from a well connected family. Isn’t there a law called “The Swimmer Legislation” that automaticaly buries an incident like this in the Bay State?

You may not be far off. Though it’s not in writing it’s probably there.

“The mother has dirt or connections...”

was Momma (or even Amy herself) boffing Delahunt-the-DA at the time? it would sure fit into this easily....maybe there was a family discussion about it just prior to the shooting of the brother?

look at the snips that come up on the hit page and then contemplate the possibility:

And she would have gotten away with it if she hadn’t been a sociopath who thinks that laws don’t apply to her.

Yes, we can hope that the FBI acts. Apparently it was the ATF that dropped the Harvard pipe bomb investigation earlier.

But it must be said that it may depend on what instructions the FBI gets from Obama and Holder. The family is rich and connected. Are they big enough donors to make it worth while covering up?

On the other hand, their daughter is going to jail anyway, after murdering three colleagues in front of many witnesses. So is it worth anyone’s while trying to continue covering up for her? It’s only Delahunt who needs cover at the moment, and his political career is probably over in any case.

Although Mass. has a pretty good record for re-electing corrupt criminals and murderers. Is that really over now? We’ll see.

No, I take that back. If they reopen the brother-murder case, it probably wouldn’t increase the murderer’s jail time much if any, but it might implicate the mother—and possibly the father, who has been omitted from all these news stories but may have gotten involved—as an accessory after the fact. They wouldn’t want that to happen.
