Does Obama know why he's losing?
Human Events ^ | 2-19-10 | Gary Bauer

President Bush was both loved and loathed for his resoluteness of purpose. But his successor has taken that trait to an entirely new level, to the point that he's become obstinate in the face of a clear reality.

President Obama, his lieutenants and media allies claim that prevailing public anger is rooted in frustration over a Washington that's "getting nothing done." They are wrong. Most of the outrage is the result of a Washington that's doing too much to push policies that have always failed.

Sure there are some areas in which the president has failed to act. Despite Candidate Obama's promises, there has been little transparency, miniscule amounts of bi-partisanship and no net spending decreases.

But other than that, the Obama administration's problems have nothing to do with inaction. Ever since a newly-inaugurated Obama tersely responded "I won" to Republican congressional leaders who challenged him over the contents of his first stimulus, he has been working feverishly to take the American economy away from its entrepreneurial roots and replace it with European-style socialism.

Liberal politicians and pundits are clinging to the idea that if only cap and trade became law, if only Congress passed more stimulus legislation, and if only the federal government took over the banking and health care industries, Democrats' November election hopes would brighten with the public's mood.

But there is no indication of that. Scott Brown won in Massachusetts in large part because he promised to be the decisive vote against socialized medicine and other wasteful spending.

Polls show that three quarters of independent voters have a favorable opinion of a cause-the Tea Party movement-that was founded on the pursuit of smaller government.

Americans are mad over the Hopey-Changie/Marxist Bait and Switch. The 0bama voters are just now beginning to realize they sold their children’s future for some worthless commie beans.

He doesn’t know the REALITY of why he’s losing,

but he does have a reason in his mind:

the electorate is too damn dumb to understand how superior he is.

Your exactly correct. Because of his narcissism, he cannot admit to any faults. He thinks he’s losing because we’re too stupid to understand him. That’s why every day there’s more yada, yada, yada.

Charles Krauthammer put it well last week:

“The dogs don’t like the food. Obama thinks there’s a problem with the bowl, or the packaging, or the advertising; but the problem is the content.”

Exactly right. These people are convinced that all they need do is sell Brand Obama better, and all will be well. They are too arrogant to admit that America ain’t buying this charlatan or his followers’ ideas because it is those ideas that are destroying the economy and the Country, as well as putting us all at serious risk of another terrorist attack.

Posted reply to Napolitano/Muslim Brotherhood meeting. I really do not believe he will EVER admit failure.
.....

After reading the diatribe by Stack it became strangely familiar.
I do not see the difference between the current administration and Stack.

The administration members have a history of being involved with radical and criminal activities. (Ayers/Dorn types. SEIU/AcorN)
Constantly blaming others (Bush, Conservative-Repubs etc etc) for every problem. Whining about their attempts to deal with the problems created by others.
Complaining about the lack of cooperation from people that have the power to change the situation (Party of No=Repubs).
Willingness to destroy the home (America) to achieve some sort of statement of commitment to perceived grievance.(lack of socialized medicine)
And finally rather than accepting PERSONAL responsibility for failures resorts to violence (intimidation) to force the grievance to the forefront.
Granted the admin has not totally committed to the final act, but I have no doubts that intimidation/violence is the preferred outcome rather than accepting ANY responsibility for the fallacy of their policies.
It will be interesting to see after the 2010 elections where the story leads.
When you have the Administration meeting with a KNOWN terrorist-murder inc organisation like the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, well birds of a feather.

Actually they are corect, they do need to SELL it better, by which I mean that they need to LIE better to get someone to accept buying something they don’t want or need, which is exactly what a good salesman does.

Concur. Rush was talking about “the big lie” yesterday, and this is included in what he was referring to...

Krauthammer is exactly right...I was watching something the other night and the Obama-appologist talking head claimed Obama’s problem was he just wasn’t getting his message out. What a laugh...the guy is on the telly every day.

I don’t think he knows he’s losing either.

I bet he is surrounded by yes-men and sheltered from any negative polls, blogs, opinions, news, etc.
