President Barack Obama is unveiling $1.5 billion in housing help, a boost timed to his appearance in the city with the worst foreclosure crisis in the nation. ~ Obama's move, detailed by aides in advance of his town hall here Friday, is the latest by a White House determined to show it is helping families rebound from a deep recession. The downturn is taking an election-year toll on Obama's party as voter frustration builds.

What he fails to understand is that this does nothing. Interest rates are going up because congress is spending money like it is going out of style. As rates go up, property values fall. Math will win no matter how much it hurts.
I am absolutely certain that he understands that it does nothing.

My wife and I paid off our mortgage last July with (heaven forbid) our own hard-earned money. I am sick of these giveaways. If you can’t handle your mortgage, get a tent, an apartment or move in with your parents/children.

I heard last night that Obama’s visit involves a closure of airapace for private aircraft around Vegas - 30 miles.
That has major casinos complaining because it keeps their high rollers from flying in.
His teleprompter alone requires an entire small aircraft with it’s own press pool. LOL
