Elton John: Jesus was Gay
The Sun ^ | 02/18/09

Posted on 02/18/2010 5:35:32 PM PST by MissesBush

JESUS was GAY - according to the gospel of SIR ELTON JOHN. The singer makes his controversial claim about the Lord in a new US interview that will enrage America's bible belt.

Elton, 62, declares as he pours out his heart to a magazine: "I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems."

He adds: "Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don't know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East - you're as good as dead."

He goes on in the same interview to describe how he and DAVID FURNISH, 47 - now his "husband" - first got together.

The pop veteran tells Parade magazine: "I was attracted to David immediately. He was very well dressed, very shy. The next night we had dinner.

"After it, we fell in love very quickly."

He said of previous lovers: "I'd always choose someone younger. I wanted to smother them with love. I'd take them around the world, try to educate them.

"One after another they got a Cartier watch, a Versace outfit, maybe a sports car.

"They didn't have jobs. They were reliant on me.

"In six months they were bored and hated my guts because I'd taken their lives and self-worth away. I hadn't intended to."

Let's see. Elton you are certainly gay. Here's how you act.

Elton John Throws Hissy Fit

"During the concert for Princess Diana, roadways shut down in preparation for the arrival of Princes William and Harry caused upheaval for the Rock Star. Sir Elton was forced to walk to the VIP backstage area as well as the post-concert party.

The rock star raged when his vehicle was stopped by the police saying, "Get out of my ****ing way. Don't you know who I am? I've been working all ****ing day and I need to get to my ****ing dressing room."

When told that no vehicles were allowed within fifty feet of the arena where the party was being held, Elton told his driver to drive around the officer. The officer moved in front of the vehicle and threatened the driver with arrest if he kept on."

Elton, you are just wrong. On SO many levels.

Yeah, Elton John knows as much about ancient Jewish life as I know about piloting a space shuttle.

***One after another they got a Cartier watch, a Versace outfit, maybe a sports car. ***

I remember when Giani Versace was murdered by a gay lover. At his funeral was Princess Di, looking like royalty, and next to her was Elton John, bawling his head off like hysterical teenage girl( Look at me! I’m very very, very emotional).

I know you did not mention the Davinci Code—but that Jesus was married is one of the main premises of the Davinci Code, and of Holy Blood, Holy Grail. Both explore the idea that Jesus and Mary Magdalene had an heir, and that their lineage was perpetuated by the Merovingian line.

Those who hate Christianity do so because it reveals the evil in their own lives.

They feel the condemnation and guilt that goodness and righteousness bring on them by virtue of them being what they are, good and right.

So, because they can’t and won’t deal with their own evil and sin, they try to corrupt the good and evil so that it no long condemns them by its existence.

Except that it doesn’t work

I am not certain of his marital status, but it would’ve been HIGHLY UNUSUAL for him to be unmarried and a rabbi, Holy Man, Messiah or the like. How would his being married change anything?

Well if God is gay, why didn’t he design the rectum to have natural lubrication?

"Would it really make a difference if Jesus had had a wife?"

No. I think it would make absolutely no difference if He was married. It wouldn't impugn or discount His divinity in any way, which is why I'm always so curious why people get bent out of shape about it.

It was the Catholic church that introduced celibacy for the preisthood long after Jesus' death and Ressurection.

That's right. Almot 400 years later by Pope Siricius (sp?), IIRC.

"Whether he was wed or celibate doesn't diminish him in the least but calling him 'gay' does."

Again, that's right. Homosexuals frequently use the fact that Jesus doesn't specifically preach against homosexuality as a reason to declare it (homosexuality) is OK. That's equally ridiculous as the marriage thing. Just because the modern-day Bible doesn't quote Jesus preaching against homosexuality, doesn't mean he didn't do it. In fact, logically speaking, its very safe to assume that he did because that would have been the Jewish theological convention of the day, just like him marrying would also have been the convention of the day.

Yeah, the fact that he turned water into wine, cast out demons, healed lepers, gave sight to the blind, raised the dead, walked untouched through an army, etc., etc. Nobody noticed that, right? Anybody could do that, right?

He had to be married to have “street cred” right?

Go back and read the Gospels. Mark is a great place to start.

Are you serious?

“Jesus was almost certainly married, as all men of adult age were expected to be, especially rabbis. Just because something is not in the Bible, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.”

he certainly wasn’t gay

“And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage... “ (Luke 20:34)

“And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.” (John 8:23)

On further investigation, like the second page of your posting history, you appear to be a real obamabot.

Why are you so defensive of him?

I’m going to keep reading. This is getting good.

Now, you are right and logical, but liberalism is founded on two principles 1. It musn’t make sense and 2. You cannot apply reality or learn from your mistakes (is that 3 pricipals?)

My cynical nature leads me to wonder if John is just trying to work up some press. Elton hasn’t been musically relevant in years.
