It was a leftist screed from a guy that apparently couldn’t figure out tax planning for a contractor. Good grief. Taxes suck — but get a grip.
He punctuated the thing with a “communist creed” — “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need” — and a “capitalist creed” — “from each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.”
You’d think he’d have gotten on well in Austin.
What a nut.

I’ve been to various parts of Texas and in some cases have visited places (San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, etc.) a few times but never made it to Austin. Isn’t that considered a very liberal community?
Bashing GM bailout.
This quote is interesting “I filed no return that year thinking that because I didnt have any income there was no need. The sleazy government decided that they disagreed. But they didnt notify me in time for me to launch a legal objection so when I attempted to get a protest filed with the court I was told I was no longer entitled to due process because the time to file ran out. Bend over for another $10,000 helping of justice.” The reason it is interesting is because the IRS was running adds on the Radio stating that people did not have to file if they did not owe taxes. My father fell into that trap and the IRS tried to go after him. My dad was able to beat it by working through a tax advocate, but it was pretty frustrating considering the ads that the IRS were putting out on the radio.
I can sympathize with him to some extent, but pretty soon you get the picture. He’s trying to tell a tail of woe. He views himself as a victim. But a lot of the facts don’t really wash.
The lady who lost her pension? I call BS. My dad was a steelworker. When Republic steel went bankrupt, the PBGC picked up the tab. Less mioney? Sure, but not “none”.
Same thing with his losing $10k for not filing in a year when he had” no income”.
Anyway, obviously a troubled individual. May he rest in peace.
Did you read the screed? There’s really no way he’s a communist.
Yep, but, watch the news media try to spin it.
They think only "the rich" should pay taxes and can't believe it when they find out they owe taxes too.
Oh I agree, we were just talking about that among ourselves here at work. Whenever liberals talk about raising taxes it's always for the guy who makes just a bit more money than they do.
That being said...his screed was all over the place.
Very sad...
I read every word. He may not have been a communist ... but he certainly was an anti-capitalist.
He quoted the “communist creed” and parodied “capitalist creed” on his own ... so apparently he thought it worth noting. If he was conservative — I can’t imagine he’d have quoted a “communist creed” with admiration, and a “capitalist creed” with disdain.

That’s probably why he had to terminate himself, he couldn’t stand himself, he was a divided human being and couldn’t find his way. I feel sorry for him and for his family, just a terrible thing.
Among the many things members of the Øbama administration get flat out WRONG, the sickos that threaten America don’t watch Fox News, they watch MSNBC. This spew could very well be an Ølberman rant.
He is most likely taking about tax exemptions for paedophilia.
You don’t own your own plane, do you?
Well, yes, he is kind of ‘all over the place’ —in Austin.
I don’t understand why he thinks it is the IRS’s fault he failed to report his wife’s income. How bizarre.....
You are a kind soul. I can't feel sorry for him. I do feel bad for his family though. Especially if he did try to burn them in the house.
Here’s a copy from the LA Times. Not sure if it has been posted:
