He’s primarily a failed tax-dodger. Everything in his note springs from that.
He’s pissed at corporations because they’re getting bailouts that he’s paying for. He’s pissed at churches because they get tax-free status, when his little church-tax-dodge didn’t fly. He’s mad at the FAA for all the bureaucrats that get in his way. He’s mad at his CPA for taking his money and not fixing his self-created tax debacle.
He quotes Marx in order to set up a slander of “the system.”
He describes “the system” we have now as a corrupt crony-capitalism-crypto-socialism. Probably not altogether wrong on that particular argument.
That doesn’t make him a Commie or Anti-Christian. He’s just a plain fool.
He sounds more like Ron Paul than anything else if he has to be pidgeon-holed.
LMAO...too funny.
Hole-in-one!
Only he's dead.
MTC
He rales against the tax exemptions of churches and the bail out of auto industry.
Laments the lack of consideration for the MASSES.
Commie or close to it.
He was nothing but a Home Grown American POS Terrorist.
I didn't read any thing about Christianity in the article. Who made up this headline.
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
The underpants bomber was an engineer. So were eight of the 25 terrorists involved in 9/11. In fact, half of all known "violent jihadists" reach higher education, and 44 percent of them are engineers. Uh, that looks like a pattern.Even though engineers are obviously highly prized by terrorist recruiters for their skills, the reason, according to Diego Gambetta and Steffen Hertog writing in New Scientist is that they tend to have a more rigid, conservative mindset, and at least in Middle Eastern countries, there've been fewer jobs for them, so more of them have gone radical.
All of the engineers I know are just alcoholics
9. I have a different view of this than the many of you who have posted your take on it on this thread.
I think he presented his case well, lucidly (except a little more explanation about Bill Ross and the piano may have helped), and has expressed what many of us here on DU have expressed: Anger at the injustices done to the American people, frustration at the unwillingness of our government to help us, and helplessness at the realization that we ultimately have no power.
He speaks for me.
Imagine that this is a fed-up DUer posting a rant -- it could likely be recced on to the Front Page.
I'm sorry that it reached the point where it became too much for him to handle.
11. I agree. There are many points made that I read on DU everyday. The guy snapped. He was unstable, but not unjustified in his frustration with the system.

I was against the Auto Bail Out and do not believe that all church property should be tax exempt, doe that make me a Commie too?
Though parts in the note's comments have some truth, he loses the battle.....he takes the coward's way out.
AppyPuppy...you win the prize!!...a new cute kitten!
I kept on having visions of Ron Paul as I was reading this diatribe.
lol!
Sounds to me like a guy who was hounded to death by the taxman and decided if he was gonna die he would take some of them with him.
He figured that you cant take everything away from a man and he not fight back at some point.
Further, he is railing not against Christianity but instead against the corruption of 'organized' religion and more directly the Catholic denomination.
And although GW was mentioned, he covered many administrations, by association, including Clinton's and just by the association of GM's bailout, Obama's. It is the ramblings of a man at his wits end and whose crusade cost him his sanity. imo
I've read it twice and now am ready to have a drink. Just because he wrote 2 statements at the end...one being the creed of the communist and the other, his interpretation of Capitalism does not make him a communist just his opinion. I would have to see more evidence than this to agree with the title of this thread.
As long as he is bashing the GM bailouts the left won’t be able to blame anyone but Obamao. He who bailed out GM.
We need to be saving this to our HDs. I went to the webpage and saved a copy:
IF I did it right.
Well , Paul sounds like a fascist to me.He has tyranny as a major remedy under the guise of a libertarian philosophy.
Now this guy wasnt crazy. Just really angry, or he could have managed some how.Its that dehumanization of his adversaries and his elitist approach that marks him as a fascist.
Definitely a recruitable Obamite if he had lived.Obama needs soldiers like him, and he is getting them.
