You, like most “normal” people, took the good with the bad, adjusted, and went on with life in an upbeat manner. I know you’re not perfect but I applaud how you live life looking for oppt rather than looking to be a victim of life.
Unfortunately, the people I know that are liberal-socialist-anarchist are miserable in thinking. They are never happy even when they are enjoying the fruits of their ideology.
My prayer is that one day they will wake up and smile at life’s oppt and challenges. When that day comes, they will be well-adjusted.

I know that IS amazing. Of course, my oldest son told me he was working on a studio in a building nearby the other day. Anyway, I’m totally amazed no one was killed (except the pilot).
When my mother sold her home to a plant manager from the north east, he said it was half the price and twice the size of his north eastern home.
It's all in proportion, salaries are lower here than northern areas and so the home prices are lower too.
I once saw a California million dollar home posted here on Free Republic. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it looked like a 1950’s Ranch style home that would cost under a hundred thousand here in Texas. I wouldn't look twice at it, lol.

Hey, it's possible. But a CPA would never deliberately overlook income except, just throwing it out there, if the client does NOT tell him or her about it.
As for the piano, Joe says he didn't know how to handle the piano, I'm thinking it was something his wife purchases as she was a music teacher, probably a private one, which explains that bit about unreported income.
Joe did something dumb...maybe claimed the piano as an expense on his income tax while neglecting to report the income it generated, something like that.
But like everything else in Joe's life, this was somebody else's fault.
The guy was a loser who felt that he should not have to pay taxes on money he rightfully earned.
well dag....we ALL are in the same boat but like I said upthread, Joe was seriously mentailly ill. I'm thinking a lot more will come out about crazy Joe.
