Looks like theres a stampede to exit the United States Climate Action Partnership. Copier king Xerox (XRX) and insurance broker Marsh (MMC) apparently are no longer in the business-green alliance supporting cap-and-trade legislation, or so says Tom Borelli, director of the National Center for Public Policy Researchs Free Enterprise Project. On Tuesday, energy giants BP (BP) and ConocoPhillips (COP), along with heavy equipment maker Caterpillar (CAT), said they were leaving the group.

Not only that Texas is suing the EPA over the evidence for Carbon emissions posing a health risk. This stuff is dead for a generation at least.

I live in DC. Can our AG sue Texas’s AG for insisting on the right of Texans to poison us with your CO2. Keep it in your own state please. /s/

I realize that the collapse of the whole carbon trading scam and green economy will have a devastating effect on our economy but its better to call the fire in on ourselves than to be overrun and dragged even deeper into this mess. If it comes down now it will be a lot easier to rebuild.
Here in Michgan, our idiot governor is pushing ahead with every unaffordable green initiative she can find but I think she’s just trying to prop it all up till she’s out the door.

Here in Michgan, our idiot governor If that's the one from Canada, can you just send her back? As the guys from South Park say, it's all Canada's fault.

Yeah, I don’t know what it is about foreign born governors but most appear to be idiots at best.
Meanwhile I’m voting for another with my vote for Pete Hoekstra. LOL

My personal crusade.
Just a suggestion for fellow tea partiers to consider.
In blue states where conservatives have a legitimate shot, how about you red staters helping us out?
This is just one example but I'm sure there are many more.
In Michigan's 7th district conservative Tim Walberg is leading incumbant democrat Mark Schauer in early polls which is a good thing. However, fundraising has been an issue in a state where the private sector has been decimated and the ACORN/SEIU types have been getting an increasing share of the taxpayer nipple. Basically there is nothing more to give in the places that need conservatives the most and I'm sure democrats have been counting on this.
I hope red state conservatives will take a close look at their races and if the conservative is doing well, maybe you can consider sending a few bucks to blue state conservatives who have a legitimate shot.
When you help a blue state elect a conservative, you help that state stand on its own and more important you help America.

From the article (emphasis mine):
However, Borelli notes that GM and Chrysler are still part of USCAP: Its outrageous that taxpayer-owned companies such as General Motors and Chrysler are dues-paying members of a lobbying outfit. With GM and Chrysler, we have government-owned companies lobbying the government for policies that will make our country less competitive. Its no wonder everyday Americans are becoming Tea Party activists.
LOL!!

Rats leaving sinking ship that they only boarded at gunpoint. I sympathize. Hopefully these corporate giants are talking with each other and saying, “We always knew this is bullsht and it’s safe to bail now”
Hoping for a mass exodus then a Jap whaler rams it and sinks it

Well, DC has no room to talk. With all of the scientists trying to look for the source of global warming, how is it that none of them have focused on the geysers of hot air coming out of the Capitol Building and the White House?
