They are costing Cali billions each year-----from schooling to health care to direct payments. The Center for Immigration Studies (using estimates developed by the National Academy of Sciences), calculates that over a lifetime, the average adult Mexican immigrant will collect $55,200 more in government services than he or she will pay in taxes.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform estimates Hispanic illegals cost the country $45 billion p/y. FAIR estimates that the net cost to state and local governments for the education, incarceration, and emergency medical care of illegal aliens is $36 billion.

The net cost to California is $8.8 billion, or $1,183 per native household (for Texas it is $3.73 billion, or $725 per household). In California alone, the heavy cost of free medicine for illegal aliens - the overwhelming majority of whom are Hispanic - forced 60 hospitals to shut down between 1993 and 2003; many more are on the verge of collapse.

QUOTING FORMER CONG TOM TANCREDO (R-Colo) Juan Hernandez headed up the Mexican govt agency, "Ministry of Mexicans Living in the United States. Hernandez is a dual citizen of the United States and Mexico, and a good friend of then-presidents Bush and Mexico's Vicente Fox."

Hernandez was presidential candidate John McCain's Hispanic outreach man.

Hernandez explained to Cong Tancredo the purpose of the Mexican government agency: Ministry of Mexicans Living in the United States:

(1) to increase the flow of Mexican nationals to the United States.....

(2) to compel Mexican nationals in the US to serve Mexico’s needs;

(3) to increase US remittances to Mexico of $50 billion a year (30% of the Mexican GDP);

(4) to get US jobs for an exploding Mexican population, alleviating Mexico's social instability due to rising unemployment;

(5) to get free US training for Mexicans, who are expected to return and repatriate those skills back to Mexico.

Hernandez supports amnesty: "By populating the United States with millions of Hispanics tied economically, politically and linguistically to Mexico, we are able to exert enormous influence and pressure on US policy and its dealings with Mexico."

There is a Political Correctness Issue involved here that everyone is afraid to address (except here.)

Because of minimal sanitational, nutritional, and other public improvements in these Third World hellholes, the numbers of the "less European" more Indian and African, segments of their populations have skyrocketed, while the number of more or less "Europeans" has remained stable or even fallen in some ountries, e.g., Costa Rica, which is quickly fading from a basically well-run, sophisticated European outpost of 4 million, to your basic tropical hellhole of 15 million angry "natives" with attitude.
