At the recent meeting of the globalist World Economic Forum in Davos, attendee Craig Mundie chief research and strategy officer for Microsoft floated the notion that a "drivers license" should be required for private citizens to access the Internet, no less than what is required to drive an automobile. This would have the effect of putting an end to online anonymity.
Defenders of the idea cite numerous problems of an uncontrolled and uncensored Internet. Some of these range from nuisances like spamming and trolling to cyber-bullying, which is capable of being more than a mere nuisance, to bona fide dangers such as viruses, spying (by corporations or government agencies), identity theft, child pornography, solicitations for prostitution, and organized crime generally.
The blogosphere is buzzing about the idea, with one discussion describing its advocates as control freaks promoting a system more worthy of totalitarian China than the still somewhat-free West.

Nope. Start my own BB again. Seriously, F the NWO Nanny State.
Like anyone really thinks we have anonymity here now. It’s F-ing stupid.
If you don’t need a birth certificate to be POTUS.....
This is the internet version of “card check”...say the wrong thing on the web and the goons show up at your home to cofiscate your computer, and YOU.
Whats it been,,,6 months since Obama lets the Euros run ICAN? And now they already need to restrict free speech on it.
A "Driver's License" for Internet Users?
Well..., that's when we "go to war" on the Internet and everyone goes underground... :-)

Craig Mundie,,, a microsoft guy floated this too. And he wants me to buy his products,,,,,
Lol. As if that genie’s gonna get in the lamp.
Autonomous, but court ordered authenticatable transactions of financial market participants is something banks drool over. There is a solution, just not the one presented.
As soon as there is a requirement for all politicians to take lie detector tests for political office and continued testing while they are in office.
If you can become president with NO records of your adult life or your birth certificate, then why the hell should we have an internet licence? What would they do if I am speeding or illegally parked? Oh, wait, I wasn’t born in kenya/indonesia/hawaii/chigago/bethlehem and am not a product of a mixed marraige between who knows what and I don’t know. And the media dosen’t adore me.
Some other questions to think about.
1. How many libs at the ACLU are pulling their hair out because of this? They defend people from having library records checked by feds, they defend the right of perverts to surf for porn at public libraries. Now that other libs want licenses to just access the internet, well, let’s just say I’m feeling some big Schaudenfreude right now.
2. Will the libraries revolt? Their porn viewers want the right to surf for porn ‘anonymously’.
3. Who takes away your license?
4. What if you use your spouses’ or friends’ license and get into trouble? How will they get it back?
5. Licenses have fees attached. Where is the fee money going to go to? How much will it cost, and will costs be based on your connection speed and what country (rich or poor) you live in?
6. when will we finally go after all the people conspiring to regulate us to death and chip away at more and more of our freedoms?
Another question:
7. Where will all the teachers go to watch their porn if they have to have a license?
We can’t even ask for proper identification to vote in this country, but to start a blog you need one. Go figure.
obama and his a** hats in DC are reminding me more and more of Germany in the 1930s. They don't even pretend not to be socialists anymore. Now their fascist leanings are becoming ever more evident.
LOL! The control freaks are trying to stop the free flow of information. I guess it makes their job real difficult. Especially since most of the so called main stream media and news papers propagandist have been exposed. They no longer have much credibility, and the government knows it.
Thus now this.
Well, see, we can take care of that little problem with just a tiny chip under the skin....
