He's 86. Falling down the stairs could be a big deal.
I wish him a full recovery after his retirement.

Lautenberg, 86, was taken by ambulance to a hospital as a precautionary measure earlier tonight, said Caley Gray, a spokesman for the Senator. Gray could not confirm if the incident occurred inside Lautenbergs Cliffside Park penthouse or what his injuries were, if any.

from Wikipedia.......
“Frank Raleigh Lautenberg (born January 23, 1924) is the senior United States Senator from New Jersey. He is in his fifth non-consecutive term in office, first serving from 1982 to 2001, and again since 2003.
He is the only current senator to have returned to office after having retired from the Senate. Lautenberg is the second oldest member of the Senate, after Robert Byrd of West Virginia.”
