One of the first big moves of 2012 -- Mitt Romney Names Matt Rhoades PAC Executive Director: BOSTON -- Mitt Romney's Free and Strong America PAC announced today that Matt Rhoades, who has held senior positions on major presidential campaigns and at the Republican National Committee, will serve as the PAC's executive director. ....................................................
Rhoades, who's moving to Boston, is a well-regarded guy whose return to Romney pretty much confirms what will surprise nobody: That he's running in 2012. He's also, incidentally, been valued for his relationship with a key player in any GOP primary, Matt Drudge.

Easy to do when you flip flop on all your positions. Oh, and institute government run healthcare.
My, aren’t we catty today?
At least he finished his term.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If that’s the best he could say, then it’s gonna be a short primary season for him.
We’ll see. If McCain is re-elected in conservative Arizona, that will be quite an indicator how strong the tea party really is. And if Romney comes out a frontrunner, as expected, we are in a world of trouble.
Curious about that Drudge connection. It only seems to be reported on the usual leftist web sites. And the only actual connection with Drudge seems to be that he flew down to have a steak dinner with him.
From Salon: “In particular, Matt Rhoades, Romney’s communications director, has a long history as the source for Drudge headlines, having previously served as the research director for the Republican National Committee during the 2006 campaign. In their book “The Way to Win,” Time’s Mark Halperin and the Politico’s John Harris recount that Rhoades traveled to Florida for a friendly steakhouse dinner with Drudge when he took the research director job in 2005. Attempts by e-mail and telephone to ask Drudge about the allegations of favoritism were not successful.”
In other words, Where’s the beef? There doesn’t seem to be much in this beyond snide leftist hints from folks like Salon and Politico.
Of course Drudge listens to opposition leaks of hot stories. So does any other political reporter.
I just thought I would look into this because I was curious whether there was any substance to it. Apparently not, at least not yet.
In four short years, Governor Mitt Romney:
Used his executive power as Governor to unconstitutionally and unlawfully impose gay "marriage."Designed and passed socialized medicine scheme, complete with $50 co-pay taxpayer-funded abortions.
Pushed through permanent "assault" scary gun ban.
Thoroughly homosexualized state government and the public schools, in fulfillment of his promises to the "Log Cabin" "Republicans."
Appointed more Democrats than Republicans to the Massachusetts bench, including radical gay activists.
He then spent 150 million dollars in an effort to win the Republican nomination, he couldn't beat his unfunded, weak opponents.
I think you’re right and I think we are in a world of trouble.
Romney knows how to run without running. Palin needs to start charming some of the politicians in key Primary states and fast.
The machine of the Party (liberals and moderates) will run over we the conservative base...they are frightened chitless of Palin and having a real American in the WHouse. They can’t control her and they know it.
Just saying, that is why he FLED Massachusetts to La Jolla.
You RomneyBOTs certainly enjoy have having used Massachusetts
and its citizens for your nefarious plans.
Bingo... Mitt is next in line delusion... Hey Mitt take a hike.
Lot’s of Socialists finish their terms as well. Does that make their politics palatable to you?
Romney guarantees another four years (at least) of Obama. Some would say, even if he wins this is true.
Is that why you are still supporting Medina?
No, I support her because she is better than the two RINOs.
I really hope you are correct. I have grown to loath the man. During the beginning of the last election I didn’t know much about him, so I bought into the successful business man crap. Once I learned about his liberal record and his willingness to speak out of both sides of his mouth I threw my support behind Fred. From what I have seen of Mitt I would say that he only cares about winning the Presidency for his own personal gratification. If Sarah Palin runs it will because she views it a patriotic calling. The difference is that I can see Palin dropping out and endorsing a solid conservative if that is what it takes to deny Mitt his presumed coronation.
Even though she is a truther that thinks that we, ourselves, murdered all those people at the Pentagon and in New York city?
She never said that, spanky.
