That's not enough time unless a democrate was already working on the signatures.

IF there is no other candidate registered Bayh has given the seat to the REPUBLICAN!

You’re right!

Friend in St. Louis reminded me that Obama came back from Camp David early. I bet this is why, and it reinforces the idea that this is payback.

I don’t know if anyone could get signatures by tomorrow, unless they already have a sheaf of them on file. And Baron Hill would have to have people tromping through the 10 inches of snow southern Indiana is getting.

I can just see Hill, known as “the Red Baron” running statewide. He will go down like the first Red Baron, in flames.
