Interesting. I actually wonder why such a long road trip is necessary - the break takes care of conflicts with actual events, and they don’t need to modify the ice itself. If memory serves, the place is downtown, so it doesn’t have a parking lot that would have been commandeered to build new stuff.
I’m sure some work needs to be done to get the building ready for the Canucks again, but two weeks worth?
