HOUSTON — Republican gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina, reeling from her remarks that questioned whether the U.S. government was involved in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, on Friday blamed the ensuing firestorm on a “coordinated attack” that she speculated came from the campaigns of her better-known GOP rivals.

They are screaming about Medina being “smeared” and a Neocon/RINO/Glenn Beck/Perry conspiracy.

Why don’t we just wait to see if the Perry Robo calls citing Mdeina a 911 truther (which she denied) really started 7 minutes after the GB interview? I question the relationship between Perry Patrick and Beck. I think everybody should. It is our sworn duty to question our government. Remember “Question with Boldness”?? In the 24 hours since the GB bushwhacking Medina has gained 66,514.00 in donations.GB does not decide who is governor of Texas. Perry nor Patrick decides who will be governor of Texas. Only the people of Texas will decide who will be governor of Texas and the majority of the people want Medina. About all that other stuff in your posts....not going there with the burning down and the civil war nonsense.

Beck turned off her audio and she could not hear him saying over an over....you answered ...you answered...you answered....that is a low down editing trick...beneath Beck I thought. Obviously I was wrong. But you don’t want to hear any of the facts, do ya? Just rant.

So what if he did? There are Truthers who support Medina. That makes it more than legitimate to ask her if she believes our government was behind 9/11. In fact, it is imperative that someone did it now rather than have the Democrat bring it up at the general election. That is standard politics. When she blew answering a simple question, she deserved what she got.

So what if he did? It’s astonishing what you excuse.

There are Truthers that support Medina. ahhm ok, I can imagine there are some closet BDSM members out there too. Oh no, not people that believed in the Tooth Fairy too?? Shocking. Don’t even talk about the Easter Bunny...my goodness. Get the drift?

She is certainly not going to govern from a truther stand point. She already denied BEING one.

She reserves the right for other people to believe. That is called FREEDOM. Is it not?

I didn’t know they had infested her campaign until she blew it on Beck. Don’t follow Texas politics and leaned toward her because Perry has been in so long .

Had a Tea Party in my town on May 9th. Women—all over 70—from the Republican Town Committee organized it and tried to keep it non-partisan. A handful of libertarians/Ron Paul types from outside wrecked it (we’re a small town, didn’t take many). They ragged on the GOP, ragged on Bush and said nothing about Obama. They also tried to sell stuff which doesn’t go over well when outsiders do it in small New England towns. Upshot was, no more Tea Parties here. The ladies don’t want to deal with that element (one of the disruptors was a stoner).

Where did this happen? I will do some research and see if I can find out what kind of dissent is going on in the Tea Party’s. A handful of libertarians/Ron Paul types wrecking things is unacceptable. I will make it a point to find out who they were and question them. TIA

I have been to TeaParty events here in San Diego and have
seen the PaulBots try to highjack them.
The Ron PaulBots hand out papers advertising their 9/11 Truther film and their other prooaganda.

Other FReepers in various states have seen the same thing .

Fifty nine million, nine hundred and forty eight thousand, two hundred and forty people voted Republican in 2008.

Yet the Ron Paul/Libertarians say we are hijacking the Tea party. Without us, there would be no Tea Parties.

Some parents EARN disrespect.

In that case it is up to the parent in question to make amends if there is to be reconciliation.

There is every indication that that is the case here.

Only the people of Texas will decide who will be governor of Texas and the majority of the people want Medina.

That's a load.

The majority of the Paulbots want Medina.

Not the majority of the people.

These Paulbot libertarians offer nothing constructive; they just cause trouble.

That's their typical MO. Paulestinians will trash Republicans to the core, but you will rarely, if ever, hear them criticize a Democrat.

And I've also heard eyewitness accounts of Paulestinian groups mucking up conservatrive gatherings with their Truther and anti-war screeching and driving people away.

They're a blight on the true grass-roots conservative movement.

Medina has a core of supporters whose real goal is not to elect her but to split the Tea Party movement.

Good observation!
