We’ve always banned truthers at RedState. Increasingly, we have also banned a number of individuals who think Barack Obama is disqualified from being President because despite the Republican Governor of Hawaii confirming the legitimacy of the Democratic President’s birth origin as a citizen of the United States.
Today I want to reaffirm and make it more definitive. If you think 9/11 was an inside job or you really want to debate whether or not Barack Obama is an American citizen eligible to be President, RedState is not a place for you.
Birfers and Truthers are not welcome here. Period. End of Story.
But I want to expand on this too.
The tea party movement is in danger of getting a bad reputation for allowing birfers and truthers to share the stage. At the National Tea Party, Joseph Farah treated the birfer issue as legitimate. In Texas, tea party activists have rallied to Debra Medina who, just yesterday, refused to definitely dismiss the 9/11 truther conspiracy as crackpot nonsense. If a candidate cannot do that, we cannot help that candidate. It’s that simple.

I guessed that but it’s so silly. Truther is a liberal belief. It’s extreme anti-Bush/anti-Israel not typical of any republican group.
He’s said it (I think in reference to whether or not abuses occurred at Gitmo and whether or not said agit prop was helping terrorists recruit jihadists).
He did not originate the phrase. But he’s certainly willing to acknowledge it is effective strategy.

How does he qualify as a natural born citizen, a requirement in the Constitution for the office of President? Not “native” born, but”natural” born
You don’t have to be a birther to ask that simple question.
I think if he does this in order to be consistent, then its ok.

I am not inclined to be a “birther.” I really didn’t think any party would take the risk of producing a non-native for president. Obama raised my attention because how hard he fought, how many lawyers he hired, how much money he spent, to prevent the release of a simple document that many of us have to produce for various documentary reasons throughout our lives. He’s fought so hard to hide his past, and I just can’t see a public figure doing that unless there is something to hide.
That’s why I’m a proponent of getting just one state to require registration of a long-form birth cirtificate with the secretary of state before that person can get on the ballot for president.
That way on next election we’ll either clear the issue out with the production of the document, or Obama will fight the requirement in court, in which case it will be front-and-center news and probably bring most of the electorate to question his eligibility.
I asked yesterday, if Boosh was congizent of the 9-11 attacks and let them occur to justify wartime actions and an expansion of powers, then why did they use information obtained from the KSM interogation at Gitmo to thwart the Heathrow attack? Why not let it occur to say “see? this is what we’re fighting!”
Or was the disclosure of some of the planned followups also a fabrication?
There’s more of a trail to indicate that Democrats conspired to cause the so called banking collapse. Certainly more than just “willful negligence”.
That didn't happen. What happened is that the governor announced that they had his bc secured in a safe, and would give no information as to what was on it.
No one denies he has a bc. The questions are all about the circumstances of its issuance. The governor didn't go there.
Now let me understand what a birther is supposed to be. Obama said he was Kenyian born before he said he wasn’t. Must be a birther. Seeems his grandmother made a statement that he was born in Kenya. That was before she was placed in quarantine. Seems also his cousin, uncle and neighbors in Kenya said they were present at his birth. Must be birthers. Okay. I think I got it now. Thanks

Consistent? How does one equate the fact that Obama has never released his vault BC with a theory that GWB and Co. worked with terrorists to cause the worst attack on the US in history.
